I ran across an article showing the Tucker Trailmaster which is a NAA mini and knife set. Where can I start looking to buy one? I've bought all 3 of my minis from the gunshow here in Houston. It's always a hunt for what I want. Don't want to pay to get into the next show and not find one.
Thanks

The press release says to contact Kenny Barlow at NAA.  Worth a phone call.
Just noted it is a Talo exclusive so you will probably have to have your dealer order one for you.  Retail is listed at $314.

The info is on the news and resource tab of NAA site.

It says to order through dealer and to order The Tucker Trailmaster, part# NAA22M-CRKT, can be ordered through your local dealer and is a TALO Distributor's Exclusive. The manufacturer's suggested retail price is $314.95.
I did see one on a gun site for $399 so they may be marked way up just like the sidewinder was at the beginning.

If you still are looking for one PM me and I'll give you the name of a dealer that has one in stock for $315.00.

Im mostly pleased with the Trailmaster combo, the pistol has a unique "stonewashed" finish that I haven't seen on a mini before. The knife is a little small, almost looks like a good little kitchen knife. Lol
I wonder if they would sell the sheath/holster by itself so I could use another pistol/knife with it?

A local dealer here in Utah has the Talo combo listed in the local gun classifieds for $315. So they're out there.

How long is the barrel on those? It looks longer than the longer standard version to me for some reason.

Is that a Kel-Tec PLR22? Or perhaps PLR16?

I have a PLR22 and it's a fun shooter.

A non conventional AR based platform,

Interesting design, apparent use of plastics etc.

Bit overpriced perhaps, for what it is...

Mind you it looks fun!  :)

No, it's a EXP 5.56
AR pistol

OK. Well, the Kel-Tec PLR22 and PLR16 are also AR pistols. One .22 and the other .223.

Anyone else buy the Trailmaster combo? Thoughts?

If they had used a Sidewinder in the combo, I would probably get one. I'm also curious what people think of them, though.

TXpug

Agree, a sidewinder would have been cool. Or a special pug. Don't mind this setup at all, I might get another to actually use and keep it in my truck.

TxPug-
If it is a TALO exclusive, the answer to your holster question is, "No". TALO is a company whose sole business is working with manufacturers to produce limited runs of firearms. There are very strict agreements drawn up, and, I strongly suspect, lawyers keeping an eye on things. Hence, the TALO exclusive.

The good news is, any local Kydex holster maker worth his salt can make what you want. If you can't locate one locally, send me a note and I will have my guy make it for you.
