Well, I guess it'd be more of a strap carry.

Women get sarongs. Some serious firepower could be hiding in/under one of those.

Honestly, I'm not trying to be a smartie here - seems to me like I've always heard "Keep your powder dry". Would dunking under water cause the ammo to have a failure to fire?  I'm new to CCW...so I'm serious with this question. I do a lot of fly fishing, which means standing in a river waving a stick...and I have been know to fall in from time to time.

I gotta tell ya, I know what your saying and any fisherman who "hasn't done the "two step" while wading, sounds like the rookie to me!  :o  :)   I do the same, in the august heat, I even leave the waders home opting for old sneakers and shorts! Anyhow, My NAA is still right there!!

SPOT ON about heeled 22LR ammo and it is NOT well water proofed! BUT MAGGIE is NOT so bad! I have had my NAA's under water hundreds of times and I have NEVER had a misfire! Now I'm not one to tempt fate, so I have a plainly labeled box for this ammo when I return to the truck and FRESH ammo is replaced in there cylinders. I test it at the range at later times and its ALWAYS gone BANG!! This is over many YEARS and multiple times.

The NAA is very handy under these situations, Once I was attached by a water Moccasin half way across a stream almost waist deep... The NAA dispatched him in a single shot. Another time a big snapper, lost the fight to a 40g HP.

I would rather forget my worms, spinner or fly box than my NAA...

I've never worried about swimsuit carry - the mere sight of me in a swimsuit is enough to repel all but the most stalwart individuals.

TO ARMS , TO ARMS the liberal socialists are coming . Load and prime your weapons . Don't shoot till you see their UN patches or the Obama bumper stickers , literally . And shoot any politician that says he wants to help you or us .

That's certainly a very "tactical" suggestion.

Speedo holster?  (molded plastic) Might work--James Bond type stuff.

You have to be secure with your self to show up at the range with nothing but your mini.

What was that song from the 60s?  "Barretts  to the left of me--Blackhawks to the right--here I am stuck in the middle with Mini."

CWLONGSHOT,
I agree with you, after the ammo/gun gets a dunking, the ammo get replaced and the "wet ammo" goes into the practice box.

I do,however, hedge my bets and "waterproof" the LR rounds by putting LEE lube around where the bullet and case meet. I let them dry 24 hrs and they are pretty much good to go.

As a matter of interest,do you find that the 22lr shot cartridges (like the CCI ones) have sufficient power to handle smakes at close range??
