   Now that is funny!!!

TROODON -->  Why do you toss a derisive political grenade (your Michelle Bachmann quote), make a second insulting remark ("you can carry on with all the BS you want...") and then retreat  behind the "I-don't-want-to-get-into-politics-let's-only-talk-about-guns" defense?

If you don't want to make a second point in a debate, don't make the first.

The statement was a direct quote and was stupid and no amount of spin on your part will make it true.  However, when a political debate gets personal, it's time to move on to something else.  That is what I meant by BS.  Keep to the subject and don't make it personal.  Now you can stop beating this dead horse.

Stupidest statement award goes to the asshat that flaps his gums for 6 minutes on the YouTube video in the gun rights threaddrift thread.

Lol I'm with Blitz that guy should definitely get asshat of the year award!

grayelky

If YouTube asshat guy fails to win the award, the winner will be a real doozie!!
Guns are a lot like parachutes:

"If you need one and don't have one, you'll probably never need one again"

There was an editorial in the local rag a few months back. A vegan was touting the advantages over a meat based diet and said "Vegans have a lower mortality rate." Now I could be wrong, but I was under the impression that they died just like the rest of us. Maybe I should pay more attention to Zombie scenerios.

That's stupid.  But I still give it to the hoplophobic drug addict.

Should we see what else comes along, and, at a certain point, send a certificate suitable for framing (assuming he has a printer)?

Maybe he meant lower morality rate. But that doesn't make sense. But neither does denying yourself a tasty, juicy steak, cooked just right at medium rare. Ah, blood. Can't beat that.

   Dang, now I'm gettin' hungry.

I know: he probably meant lower mentality rate. Yeah, that's probably it.

Just received a Guardian 32 bought off Gun Broker.  The ad said it was used, but looks brand new.  Only paid $245 plus shipping, incuding a pocket holster.

Also had winning bid on 380 guardian, which is still processing.

Awesome deal! Congrats! And welcome!
