Look pretty cool, but probably not very usefull as theyd be even more slippy than regular grips.  Would like to see a pic of the full pistol with them on if anyone has a set.  Pic taken from listing on ebay:

Neat idea but no personality , grips have to have personality , ha ha . Brass does look mighty good with super high polish problem being either spray with clear coat or polish them on a monthly basis . Wish this maker would use smaller hardware not all screw looking . Just an opinion mind ya . :)

That looks like it might be okay for display. With my sweaty hands, I would not be able to hang onto it with those grips. I changed from the standard wood grips to pug-style rubber for that reason. Big improvement in control.

There is a belt buckle that has grips like this. Not sure this is them, but it sure seems like it.
Guns are a lot like parachutes:

Metals would certainly be apt for use in conjunction with certain belt buckle designs, if one wanted to create the impression the gun was part of the surround type thing. For whatever reason...

Once upon a time, I crafted polished Jade grips for two Mini's (A Short & a LR, which I've since sold to another board member).

I didn't have any matching pieces of Jade, so I tried to match up the main colors as best I could with what I had, for each revolver.

It actually wasn't all that bad - just mega clouds of stone dust (in my cellar), from grinding to shape on a hard grinding wheel.

I got jump-started with polished Jade ovals that a friend gave me - I think he was going to make necktie slides, but never went through with his project.

I epoxied (3 "dots" of epoxy on each side) the finished Jade panels to the gripframe, figuring that if the panels ever needed removal, a little heat would melt the epoxy w/o damaging either gripframe or grip panels.
