Welcome to the forum 250mav.  I am sure with the breadth of experience on this forum, someone will have had direct experience with the product in question.

thank you. i was hoping to find a buckle in that style. the ones currently on the site are not as appealing to me.

Both of my Minis are .22 magnums.  Those old buckle holsters are for 22 LR or 22 Shorts only, from what I've seen.
The newer buckes, sold by NAA, which do accommodate the .22 mangum revolvers have a different retention system, and are skeletized in comparison to the old style buckles.
Good luck with your search.

yeah i have the 22LR

250mav, the other day I was looking through the discount bin, and I saw one of those.  Just checked and it is still there. Not sure how long it has been there, but I'm attaching a picture of it:

We have a box here in the office as well as the online bargain bin.  If you want it, call in

I find it odd that the buckles are/were made for the .22lr, but not the .22 short. Seems that would be a natural!

How much ADMIN I'll take it for the collection .  :)

I have one of these buckles that I bought around 15 years ago directly from NAA. They are decent. I liked mine. The aluminum (I think) grips attach the NAA to the buckle. When I got the buckle, it was tight and a little difficult to attach the mini and remove it, but it loosened up--sometimes too loose. If I wasn't careful, the mini wouldn't get secured well.

I carried that way quite a bit with a shirt tail over the gun. Worked pretty well, but I had to be careful of my shirt tail coming up. I haven't used it in years.

so theres no loop to put your belt around...

I have one of the 'larger' styled NAA belt buckle that I would be glad to trade for a nice set of grips, if anyone is interested. Note to Mods...if this type of post is not allowed here, please delete or move this post (I'm a noob )
