Hey all,
I just bought my first mini revolver yesterday.  I got it on the way to the range, so I shot it right away.  I thought it shot really low and not very accurate, but I didn't know if that was normal.  When I got home, I went to clean it and noticed what looks like a bad machining job at the top of the crown.  What do you guys think?  Should I send it in to get fixed?

Welcome to the forum and you should send it back to NAA for replacement barrel . ;)
TO ARMS , TO ARMS the liberal socialists are coming . Load and prime your weapons . Don't shoot till you see their UN patches or the Obama bumper stickers , literally . And shoot any politician that says he wants to help you or us .

It was new.  I wish I would have looked it over like it was used.  Live and learn, I guess.  Thanks

Dukeo-- Welcome. The short barrels are very unforgiving.Grip, stance, breathing, shaking hands are all even more important with them.  It is almost a belly gun. I have a Cap and ball mini and having to hand load each chamber makes it worse. The bullet never is perfectly straight.

NAA service is very good. They will make it right.

On the standard mini, there is no crown on the barrel when you get them.
I got one (new) that had the end of the barrel slightly folded in all the way around it.

If you are going to use it, you should call NAA and send it back.

Just looked at the crown on my mini Through a loop. Looks ok. Would polishing the edge where the crown meets the groves help With accuracy? What would I use?

I agree with the others, give them a call and send it back. You will be a lot happier when you get it back. If you don't send it back you will always be bothered about it and unhappy with the gun. Where you bought it from may exchange it for you also if you ask them about it. You never know.
