I do not see that you have done anything to it; please explain.......................

....... just kidding; I understand.

Try and get an XS Big Dot sight on the front of that thing when it is done. Makes it shoot a bunch better.

I'm seeing an 18K pocket chain attachment for the grip somehow so it could be cross drawn from a fancy vest.  That would look really good on you GoldSmithy.  Smoking Hot!

Yes, the gun will have a ring for attaching a chain so it can be worn in a vest or pocket.

Ok, what else might we see featured?  Looking forward to seeing it evolve.

Hey GoldSmithy,
How is your project gun development going these days?  What's the update?  Will we see a rainbow of sapphires, diamonds or other gems somewhere like in the grip, some presious medal plating, or etching?  What's the plan?  Is this a show gun or one you will ever fire?  Your other gun so exceptional, I'm looking forward to watching the process.  Keep us posted.  Pictures are nice but if it's hard to do, then just tell us what's going on.

Well, since you asked? ;D The project gun is currently being polished. I am going to plated the trigger, hammer, cylinder and the tip of the cylinder pins. The initial set of grips will be sterling silver, with uncut and polished diamonds. The uncut diamonds will be cast-in-place, which is a technique I haven't done before. I am going to reshape the front sight and inlay a gold dot on top. I will then send the gun back to NAA for reassembly.  This will be worn with a neck holster. I'm working on that also, along with 8 different sets of grips.

I plan on texturing the frame in some way, but I haven't figured out how or what texture.

And then...I'm going to shoot the hell out of it. ;D ;D

No got one of these http://www.ammoboxes.com/w30-22-41.html and encase the wallet in engraved or chased silver!

I have had one of these ammo wallets for about 45 years!

I just knew we could expect big things to come but man what an amazing project handgun.  I can't wait to see were it ends up cause it sounds breathtaking. I'm equally excited you plan on firing it.  Like a fine watch, pen, or knife the beauty of them no matter what is that they are also useful.  Thanks for sharing and I can't wait to see it.

PS: I want mine with multi-colored sapphires....are you taking orders LOL!!!

My shop time will be extremely limited for the next 6 months. My daughter was in a head-on collision last Thursday and will be incapacitated for the next 6 months due to her leg and hand injuries. She has 2 kids ages 10 and 6 and will need a lot of help. Thank God her injuries were not worse.

I'll post my progress as it happens.

My heart and most sincere prayers go out to your daughter for her complete and quick healing as well as her whole family.  Nothing compares to the love of our family and their needs.  Just know the beauty is also there for them that they are blessed to have your support. Projects can wait.  You take care and keep us posted.

Your daughter's care will be your new project, Goldsmithy. If you do as well with her care as with your other projects, she's in the best hands in the world!

Good luck to you and the family in this difficult time.

Sure sorry to learn of your daughter's circumstances and good to know that you put your family first. We'll pray for a speedy recovery and hope that you'll be able to get back to your fine work soon.
