I just purchased a .32NAA Guardian. The right side of the slide angles away from the barrel forming a V. As there is no slide play, I imagine the gap between the slide and the barrel, while cosmetically disappointing, is not a functional problem. Secondly, the rear of the ejector protrudes from the slide and could potentially hang up on, or tear a pocket. Are these issues common to the Guardian pistols?

Why did you buy it ? Send it to NAA with description of dislikes . First post huh ?  :-\
TO ARMS , TO ARMS the liberal socialists are coming . Load and prime your weapons . Don't shoot till you see their UN patches or the Obama bumper stickers , literally . And shoot any politician that says he wants to help you or us .

Yup, first post. I think I filed this under the wrong topic. Anyway, I didn't notice these issues until I got home. Thanks for the reply.

My 32 ACP guardian has the same slide "tilt" as you describe. It is the nature of the design. The takedown button on right side is spring loaded and maintains a constant pressure on slide wanting to cant it to the right a bit. The amount of angle is dependant on the loosenes of slide to barrel/frame. Without some play there the gun will not function.

Mine has worked great for going on nine years now.

My ejector also protrudes slightly from side of slide. I radiused the corner of it when I performed the meltdown of my slide but never had any issues with it hanging up on anything before I did so.
