...there is a "Homepage" button at the top of this screen? Yep, click it, and it takes you to the NAA web site. For those who had asked, the webmaster said it would not be easy, and might take time. Don't know about the "easy" part, but it is here. Now, I am personally hoping the next improvement will be the "Start a New Thread" button at the top of each page actuality starting a new thread on the main "Topics" screen. I am sure it is being worked on.

I actually posted the homepage link yesterday.  I'm still working on it so that it looks better and comes up on all pages.  I am the new webmaster for the site and I am hoping to implement a few changes to improve things.  I've been going through the website and trying to fix problems and make everything work, before I make too many changes.  I would love to hear feedback from everyone for changes made, changes to come, and requests so I know what would benefit everyone most.

Thanks for your efforts.  I know it is a stiff task.  Right now all we need you to do is slip into R&D, get some quick snaps of the new Sidewinder and get them posted on here before the boss catches you so we can get a glimpse.....

   One suggestion, tho: your offensive language filtering needs a tad bit of reworking. The contraction for "HE WILL" is being filtered out, like this: •••••. Apparently it's being interpreted as H-E-double-hockey-sticks. At least "she'll" works fine. (i don't think the H-word or the D-word offends anybody here, tho. Just FYI.)

Yea that's true the delete button has never worked for me either.  And good idea on the trip to R&D many would be very appreciative.  If you can get that start new thread thing sorted out that would be awesome to!

We sometimes have problems with photos. Either they are too big, and run over past the right side of the page, or the poster post multiple photos with out using a return between photos. this also causes the page to be expanded waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay over to the right!  

   Then a member must use the horizontal scroll bar and go back and forth numerous times to read any post in the thread.

   After I talked to the gal who handles this sort of thing, a message was posted, however I doubt if many have noticed it.  

   Is there a way that each new member is presented, with his application, the requirements for uploading photos?

   Better yet, can multiple photos that run past the page be automatically routed to the next line below?

I noticed it yesterday, but forgot to post it.

   

   For my $.02 worth, the "Start New Thread" link needs to be removed from with in a thread. This will keep new guys form posting in a not-so-beneficial place, and will reduce their "stress level" somewhat.

   

   There are a number of things I would like to see, but I suspect you have a list to work on already.

Two more good points.

   

   To fix the problem Gunr noted, if the automatic posting of the picture link would merely enter a carriage return AFTER the link, then I think this problem would be solved. As it is now, if you just upload multple pictures without pressing the ENTER or RETURN button yourself, then you get annoyingly wide margins.

   

   And, since I read this board most of the time on my iPad, if this happens, I no longer read the thread--unless I get on my computer to read.

   

   I also agree with Grayelky. If you can't fix the problem of the Start New Thread link, then remove it from all places except the topic pages. And, again, as has been asked for before, it would be better to have this Start New Thread link at the top, rather than all of the way to the bottom.

   

   Oh, and one more thing: Free guns to those who have posted more than a 1000 messages. Okay? No. Well, you can't blame me for trying.

I set some picture restrictions, that should force the image to be no bigger than 600 pixels wide, which should fix the large image post problem.  I'll check into the return after images and see what I can do.  I'll also add all your requests to my "to do" list  

   

   just you make you all jealous, I had the prototype of the Sidewinder in my hand earlier today.  It's pretty sweet
