I tried on the original and got "no" for the answer.
What ever number comes up when your order comes up is what you get (got).

I'm sure you bought two - did you at least get consecutive numbers? That's my goal.

From the January Soapbox:

QuoteI don't have much to report about Ranger II. Initial production remains on the horizon. We remain hopeful that we can remain on schedule but "slippage happens". I have suggested to some that I will outline an Early Bird program in next month's Soapbox, and so I will, although the program may not begin until later this Spring. We're committed to getting this right the first time – although as with every product in our line, we never stop trying to make/do things better.

Kevin; Who did the scratch on the Ruger 45's for you ?
His name will come, I hope. He lives in Clinton or Hickman in KY & shoot Cowboy years ago & had a shop in an old bank down by the river, the guns were done before October 2002.  Each gun was $400, which seemed a good price

Kentucky Kevin; how do you fit that mini with the scope in your front pocket?
I have a small shoulder bag that it works in as an extended range if needed gun.

We had a little "slippage" on the Breaktops. But we got them.
We had a little "slippage" on the Early Bird Sidewinders. But we got them.
There will be a little "slippage" on the Ranger II's. But we will get them........

Set tight. Remain calm. Don't get excited.

Things are always better if the anticipation builds a little.

Bull - I want a pair and I want them now.......................... >:( ;D ;D ;D ;D

I don't log in for a few months and  poof, they re release the Ranger.  Without reading back through 4 pages on my phone, is it too late to get in on this?

No AZ, it hasn't even started yet.

I won't make the mistake of not checking in every day again.  The ranger is at the top of my list of must haves.

I also noticed the latch on top.  Is this a pre-production lock, or will it have this hook in the final version?  Definitely not a deal breaker, but it does lack the classic breaktop lock that we all love.   Still, many thanks for bringing it back.  I hope it makes it into standard production, and maybe a .22 Long Rifle version as well.

Uncle_Lee

Hey AZ,
The latch system is about the same as the Schofield.
PM me your e-mail address and if I am still alive when the Ranger II comes out, I WILL make sure you know about it......

Jim did a Cimarron 45 Colt for me, nice work he does. My piece is CCH frame and blued. I had him re blue the portion he engraved, Back strap, cylinder, barrel and ejector housing. My piece is a Black powder frame 5 1/2".

Jim will be here in Arizona for the Cowboy Action Shooters Championships next month. I have a new NAA Wasp, I may have him do some sort of scroll type engraving on the top strap. IIRC; he get $50.00 to $60.00 for such a type of small service. That is what I paid him for a Grip frame scroll on a piece several years ago. I give him the piece and he will have it done in a few hours while at shop at Vendor tents.

It will be announced here on the board.
You won't be able to miss it.
It won't be in some out of the way place where you might not see it.

Calm down. Take a deep breath. Count to 10 5 (I'll make it easy since I don't know where you live).
It probably won't be out until after April (might fool me but I doubt it).
