Has anyone ever thought of or completed a Cerakote/Duracoat of your NAA?

I'm not familiar with the process but I should suspect the small size would make it harder. First you would probably have to disassemble the revolver & that alone makes it a very difficult process. Then if the material added anything to the dimensions the revolver probably couldn't be reassembled due to the tight fit.
Not saying it couldn't be done but I don't think it would be easy.

I just bought a Pug yesterday, and would love for it to be blacked out. I am going to consult my gunsmith this week in regards to this.

Cerakoate is thin enough it should not be a problem. I have seen pics of minis in various colors, but do not recall the process.

I had 2 LR cylinders coated with "Titankote C12" which is the same coating used to coat the "Talo Blackjack".
They have a minimum cost of $100.00 and the two cylinders cost me the minimum.

FYI...Gunsmith stated he had duracoated a PUG already, Ceracoat would be thinner. Quote was $70.00 for entire gun. I will post pics IF I get it done.

For the "do it yourself" group, Brownells has Duracoat kits and chemicals to do it yourself.

Please, nobody mention the Yellow Duracoted ones that caused all those problems and arguments on the forum a few years back - crap I just did

I'd find it hard to justify covering stainless steel with anything, not that some can't look good, but if they are guns you carry and use, stainless is always going to be the most durable and easily "repaired" should something untoward happen to mar the finish.

Not disagreeing with the stainless is more durable quote. I just wanted something different. Since this is a backup gun to my primary, I figured I would get what I want. I am still waiting on the call from the gunsmith. Thankfully I haven't seen the yellow ones you mentioned.

My NAA Mini-Companion is 14 K Gold plated, doesn't get any better than that. Special addition, 1 of 3000 made in the late 1990's.

And Yep, I shoot the piece. A scoop of Black powder, makes for smoke & Fire !

yes that was amazing a little art work caused a big rukus such as that as you know i took the brunt of that having my account hacked by some big mouth who did not understand his place.both duracoat and the other are fine for the naa prep is key to it lasting.oh ya dont make me bring back the bees?

I think the problem, for me at least, is the lack of things like sentence and paragraph structure, punctuation and proofreading. Good communication depends on having a common language and I believe we are losing that.
