Wow.  Another long month to wait until we find out when the Ranger II race will begin.  And of course, March has 31 days!  Dang!

All is not lost. We do have an update, which is more than we had Feb 29. We also have the reassurance the project will not be rushed.

Hey, All:
I've been reading these forums for a while now, and have learned a lot from all of you about these incredible little revolvers.  This, however, is my very first post.  I'm kinda late to the NAA game ... but I have quickly become infected by the BUG!  My late father-in-law left me his BW--my first NAA revolver.  Soon after, I picked up a 22 short (for giggles), and a PUG.  But my pride and joy is an original RANGER!  What a beautiful work of art!  Unfortunately, it is so beautiful (and now collectible), that I don't want to fire it.

So--like all of you--I can not wait for the new RANGER II, so I can finally fire one of these little break-top beauties.  And maybe even carry it as my new BUG.   8)
So, making guns illegal will take them off the street?
Perfect!  We should probably make heroine and meth illegal, too!

 Well welcome there JimmyA , you have just entered the "Twightlight Zone" kinda . The Bug you got is the Bug you'll get around here and more , you're so right about the "Original Ranger" there won't be another only another gun trying to catch up .  ;) ;)

Thanks for the welcome, OV, Lee, and Michael!  I'm guessing I probably only have about 40 or 50 collection years left--may not be enough time.   ;)

I was really amazed at how this "infection" just kinda crept up on me.  I didn't expect to like these little BUGgers so much ...  But I already have my eye on several others ... another original RANGER, a couple of RANGER IIs, some Sidewinders?  Earls?  BlackJacks?

Oh, jeez ...  Call 911 ...  It's getting worse!   ;D

If you just cant wait, there is a original ranger on  gun broker right not with a day and a half left  Right now its only at $1600.00

Thanks, Valkyrie. I've actually been watching that auction with interest.  I'm not so happy about having a reserve to contend with, but I guess I can't blame the seller.  These little beauties are only going to be more collectible over time.

I'm one of those people--probably along with many on this forum--who actually has more money than patience.  So, I may be bidding on that one ...

Yea I'm getting frustrated waiting :-[ so much so I don't know if I even want one now, I have other wants that are available now and the money for them is here now. I almost wish NAA never said they were going to build a new ranger. They should just do it and don't say a word to us until its ready to sell.

If you'll remember, the Ranger II news broke through the media, not through NAA. Besides, I kinda like having something to look forward to! (And it gives me more time to set aside the $$ to buy one.)

OK, so today at 2:38 PM, the Ranger on Gun Broker was resting at $1900.00 - no movement all day, yet the auction is set to end tonight at 8:49:54 PM.  There are those gun slingers just waiting to snipe out there . . . just wait.  Best of luck to all those in the bushes right now . . .and congratulations to the winner & the seller!

OK . . . It's been a long month . . .we're two days out . . .will there be exciting news from Sandy about the beginning of the run on the Ranger II this Friday?  Man, I hope so.  The suspense is grinding me down.  With so many great guns out there to buy, I'm doin' my best to keep back a little $ to jump on these as soon as they are ready.
