Another long month ahead - Ranger II

Not a big deal......................... plenty of other firearms pokers in the fire that may need tending. It will come when it comes and when it does then I will add one to the vault.

I also highly doubt they will fall into the category of "Scary Guns" we ought not have should this November go terribly wrong.

They take in small bites!  This time a small bite off the "Scary Gun" list; next time, another "they won't compromise" argument and we will shave more off the list.  Then once again, further down the road, a "they won't compromise" argument will erupt again and we will shave still more off the list.  It will never end.  That agenda does not have a time line, just a goal line, with forward movement in small bites.

Sorry; I should never have allowed that nasty streak break out in this fine thread of Hopes & Dreams.  I'll move over to the Political threads and vent there . . . . . where there are plenty of silver linings surrounded by dark clouds.

I started screaming and yelling this fact in 1968.
I have never stopped but it seems like few if any hear me.
"They don't want mine" so I don't worry seems to be the thought of a lot of gun owners.
We should stand together from blackpowder shooters to full auto 50 cal. (and larger)

I heard a rumor that Hillary wants to do away with very small concealable revolvers, what she refers to as "WMDs", or "Weapons of Mouse Destruction".  I sure hope Sandy brings out the Ranger 2 soon (though I'm still hoping that it will be called the "Huckleberry").   

Seriously though, with the election fast approaching, my guess is that Sandy's priority is keeping up with current demand, which is undoubtedly high.  Bringing out the Ranger 2 now would almost undoubtedly cause a large spike in orders that they couldn't keep up with without increasing staff.  If Trump wins, demand will likely drop dramatically, which would necessitate laying off the new staff.

I agree with Uncle Lee.  I don't think we'll be seeing anything new until Christmas.  But I hope I'm wrong.

SANDY HAS SPOKEN!!!  There is hope but no timetable.  I'm thinking another year at best.  Doesn't sound like anything near imminent.  So I guess I'll just file my hopes in the back of my mind and be happy with what I have.  Bummer

Yeah, I know, this is getting old . . but we will never give up.  A little encouragement never hurts.  This Saturday begins another month, and time for Sandy to step up onto the soapbox and announce to the crowd gathered what he is planning to do in the coming months, how he feels about the past summer, and maybe, just maybe, announce any additional steps forward in making the Ranger II become a reality.

The Ranger II delay has kind of helped me whittle down my wish list, as every other month that goes by, I just buy #2 on the list, maintaining my Ranger Wish in the #1 spot.  It really has helped lower the Hillary anxiety of not getting in under the wire, so to speak . . .

I fully agree with Sandy's comment about our lack of choices in the pending election next month.  I don't know a thing about Sandy but if he decided to run on a write-in basis, I'd vote for him in a minute.  My logic is that he knows how to run a business that has good customer service. 

Given that we're going to be stuck with Trump or Clinton, having a Ranger II might help provide some distraction from the grim realities of the freedoms we're going to lose over the next four years.  Hopefully it will come out this year, but I'm also fine with waiting.

 I think I'll go dust off my SECOND original Ranger 1 that's hiding in the safe till the need for someone who wants to buy a quality piece arises . Whats money if you want something bad enough and this piece is always going to hold its value maybe more . Besides waiting is such a waste of time and maybe it may never come which would be a real drag seems NAA has spread itself way too thin with all the other stuff going on , stuck between being too small of a business and not able to enlarge to the degree it needs to be but then again these guns are more or less novelties not demanding full blown all get out . Larger , bigger guns and calibers are needed to expand but that takes big bucks especially in todays cutthroat markets . Just ONE government contract would be a blessing .
