32acp mag release.

Yesterday the mag release button on my guardian snapped in half right at the slot for the lock.  New one is ordered and on the way but I just wondered if this is a common problem?  I do fire buffalo bore 75 grn loads in this but I wouldn't think that would hurt the mag release.  Never had any other problems.
