I have this really cool 1992 NAA laser equipped .22lr with the 1 5/8" barrel. I'd love to get another cylinder for it chambered for .22 shorts. Anybody know of an aftermarket cylinder available to fit this neat little gun?

You can shoot .22-shorts in any .22LR recover. No need to get another cylnder!

And welcome to the board!

Welcome aboard , your L.R. cylinder accepts shorts and if you want extra cylinder you'll have to send it to NAA for proper timing of new cylinder (no after market available). Contact them for instructions . Later . ;)

When you shoot a lot of shorts thru a LR cylinder the only disadvantage is you have to really scrub the cylinder to keep LR empties from sticking.  Lately shorts are harder to find and more expensive than LRs so unless you have a big stock of shorts why do you want to?  If it is recoil and noise, CCI "QUITE 22" have about the same ballistics as shorts.  In any case, welcome and enjoy your Mini.

A friend gave me 500 vintage rounds he never plans to use. I have some 200 rounds more, but nothing chambered for them. I see the little NAA-22S on GB for some $80 over the $209 list. Not sure I want one that bad - or not? As a kid, I shot lots of shorts thru my old Winchester single shot. They were a LOT cheaper than LR. Anyway, that's a lot of plinkin', six shots at a time. Thanks for your help.

Cyberfish That laser up top might short out using up battery life over a couple of days (mine wasanyhow). Send it in to Laserlyte corp. for repair, because they discontined that model , and they will replace it with a new grip model for L.R. frame. Later. ;)

That mini laser has been on there OK for several years, and a few hundred rounds. Maybe I just got one of the good ones.
Loaded with HP's, it is my Summer carry gun when I am down to shorts & t-shirt. A bit less horse power than I'd prefer. but better than going naked.
I bought many years ago to take backpacking, loaded mostly with shot shells for killing rattlesnakes. For that purpose, it provided an occasional meal, and one dandy hat band. They DO taste just like chicken.

Fish, just shoot the shorts thru your LR cylinder.  They are great plinking rounds and work well in any LR Mini.  BTW the Mini holds 5 rounds.
