Wow!  Are those real watch movement pieces?  Very cool!  Makes it look "mini-steampunk".

The older I get, the harder it is to impress me. I'm impressed!  Very clever, well presented,  unique. And you did it first! My hat's off to you! Well done!

As nice as those grips are, they can't be the only cool thing you've ever done. What else you got?  :)

   HUH ?????  ??? ??? ??? ???

I think your confusion is directed toward my post since I'm right before you, so if I wasn't clear enough I will try again...

I think those grips are very cool and the craftsmanship looks great. Someone with this talent has had to have done other creative projects with other guns or motorcycles, or treehouses or whatever. I wouldn't mind seeing some of his other projects whether they're NAA related or not. These particular grips are awesome and WAY out of the ordinary. I suspect his artistry is not limited to this one piece.

Sorry if I were not clear in my previous post.  :)

A truely unique and awesome set of grips. Duplicated on other side? Great work and yes, more pics.

Read any of my past posts and you will find I am not "brief" with my words. I am at a loss to proclaim how unique these grips are above, or beyond, what my fellow board members have already described. I, too, would like more, larger pics of this, and any other project you have. Please.

David76018-
I was/am so blown away with your grips, I failed to notice this is your first post on the forum. Forgive me. WELCOME, to the forum. Talk about a terrific first post!

WOW! Nice work! I have never seen grips with embedded objects before. I think you may have founded a whole new industry! The possibilities are ENDLESS!

Very impressive....A true work of art.
Welcome to the forum.

WOW totally "AWESOME"
Here's another WOW

zburkett

OUTSTANDING!  Both the craftsmanship and the art.  I love the watch parts in a pistol we sometimes describe as being made like a fine watch.  Welcome to the forum and I hope many more examples of your work will follow.

Welcome david !!
Creative and indeed steamy. Very nice.

I agree, outstanding.  Setting up my firearms as such, or having a really great holster, makes me want to show others - a big no no for concealed carry; but love them none the less.  Thanks for sharing!!

Wow.  Thanks for the kind words and warm welcome.  The grips turned out better than I expected.  The jewelry grade epoxy set up hard as diamond and self domed so it fits the curve of the grip perfect.  Also hard to tell in the photos but the entire gun is "melted" rounded down all sharp corners and polished. Next step if I can work up the nerve is to try some subtle engraving. I wouldn't be against making some more grips now I kinda have a method. What would you guys think a set should go for?   Realistically there's about 6or 8 hours involved.  But that was a first try.

Would you like to give ivory a try? Send me a PM with your email.

Welcome, David !   You've certainly hit the ground running, with this thread - KUDO's ! !

IMO, a unique set of custom grips like those would most likely sell readily @ (at least) $75, and possibly more - I would suggest putting a set up for auction, to determine the market.
