Picked up a new NAA-Mini Buckle at the factory today

So, I was at the NAA factory today in Provo and picked up a new buckle. I really like it. This one is a bit heavier that the old one I have (which is aluminum? I think so). This one is also quite a bit bigger. It also uses a magnet and a latch to retain the revolver instead of a clip on the grips, which didn't always hold the mini well in the old buckle.

I'm definitely going to wear this. I do like it!

I also picked up one of the metal locking gun boxes to check out. I haven't bought an NAA since they started shipping with those. It's very solid and nice and big. NAA has a winner with these! They also gave me a free NAA logo sticker. :)

Thanks Sue, Harold, and Kenny!

It needs a replacement grip that is the same color as the buckle to make the pistol blend into the buckle better.

Pretty spiffy there Darvell . Of all the NAA stuff I collect thats one thing that eludes me a NAA belt buckle , never found one I really liked until now , thanks for empting my pockets again .Ha .
TO ARMS , TO ARMS the liberal socialists are coming . Load and prime your weapons . Don't shoot till you see their UN patches or the Obama bumper stickers , literally . And shoot any politician that says he wants to help you or us .

I agree with theysayimnotme.  Get some nice engraved grips and it would really blend in nicely with that buckle.

Here's a set of pewter S&W J-frame grips I picked up a few years back:

That's an interesting idea. I'll look into that!

did they let you shoot the new ranger

That would have been awesome, eh? Nope, didn't even see any sign of a ranger. I saw many NAA minis in various states of creation and assembly, tho. They even have a real robot that helps finish the minis! That was cool. But no rangers. I think they're too busy trying to catch up to current orders. The guys working on the Rangers were probably in the super top secret room!

Spiffy indeed! I'm going to actually try wearing this thing, even though I don't even ride horses, LOL. You haven't seen this one then? I haven't either. I guess it's new. But I found it in the catalog. I knew I was going to get it the moment I saw it!

I think the buckles are $65, but the one I found was in a "scratch and dent" bin in the front office, with some other comparable "problem" items. Some of the dings were quite obvious, but I didn't care much. It looked like what it would if I had been wearing for two weeks, hehe.

That would have been a great visit.
Congrats.

Yeah, it's nice to be close to the factory. I've been in a number of times. Everybody there is just great! It's been a long time since I've been down there, though. Probably more than five years. Wow.
