My impression after extended use:

I've been using this $15 holster for many months now in very physical activity. So far no issues with dirt/lint/accidental hammer cocking/or any complaints. The padding makes it comfortable. This is my minimal EveryDayCarry. I put a little folding gerber knife in the extra pouch a few weeks ago.

I picked one up and I also think they work pretty well.  I would like it even better if it wasn't so darned fat.  Kind of defeats the purpose of a small gun...

I'm of the mind the Fat ain't where it's at, so I put my BW's grips on a diet.

Dr. Pietro, he's got a scalpel and he's not afraid to use it!

That's one way to go about modifying your grip to suit your need/taste.

Seems a waste of a perfectly good oversize grip, when they make a very nice textured rubber grip that is very reasonable.  The sale of the oversize would have paid for it and would not result in a butchered grip.

But that is just me.  I look for results, not necessarily the thrill of doing it myself..........

I'd like to find a set just like those Louie.  Been looking but no luck so far...

What do they look like from behind?

The other thing about this holster is that it tends to be hotter than a simple leather holster.

The biggest plus to this holster is that it seems to completely hide the cylinder bulge.  I like that.

Actually, I saved my BW oversized grips & installed a set of black rubber birdshead panels from

There you go!

I knew someone had those but could not find them!

   Thanks for posting that!

Those are the ones that are on my little gun.  I bought them from a guy on E-bay, but those are the grips from vintagegungrips
