a saw a couple of you mention making or getting some speed strips for the sidewinder

   Midway has the Tuff Strips on sale currently

   10-round .22cal. strips

   package of 2

   $5.99

   sale ends June30 or while supplies last

   note: I don't work for Midway; I do like their offerings and service. Buying things on 'sale' helps offset shipping costs too.

   maybe some of you can get these local at similar prices,

   just throwing this out there as an option:

Thank you for the info !   That sale is for the Tuff Quickstrip #1022 which works perfectly for 22LR but for 22mag the Quickstrip #1017 (which is slightly longer and has a touch more space between the cartridges) works much much better

   thanks for the clarification

   #1017 product is listed as a better fit for the .22M rounds. I see they are $9 on the Tuff website, but free shipping in US:

Yes; check out Tuffproducts' belt carrier for the quickstrips. Works great and unobtrusive way to carry up to two quickstrips on one's belt.
