Does anyone shoot SASS?

I watched "Cowboys" on the Outdoor Channel and they did the show on pocket pistols. It appears that at SASS matches they have sideshoots where they shoot the old pocket pistols and derringers. I have always wanted to join the Single Action Shooting Society and would love to shoot the old pocket pistols. Can anyone out there tell me more about it?

seems like a nice group of gents and ladies. might be an expensive club to be a part of though with all the travel and costumes? I read that each member is required to pick a unique name(identity).

   Looks like they have a convention coming up on Dec.9th and 10th in Las Vegas. They are headquartered in California.
