Thank you Sandy,

Just checked the mail box and got the envelope with the new NAA Skeleton Belt Buckle inside for my NAA 22LR.

blitzkrieger

We want pics as proof you have a lr to put in that buckle

whitehorse

Blitzer,

My Spanish Fork 22LR's "safety notches" are not cut as deep as the newer models. The hammer needs to go in about another mm while in a "safety notch" for a perfect fit.

What do you advise ? ( yes I am setting the hammer in the safety notch properly ) ( serial # V982** )

Although I have stereo cameras and Zeiss lenses I do not have a digital camera.

blitzkrieger

Do you have a cell phone with camera?

I would suggest sending it in OR you use a hacksaw w/ finetooth metal blade... That should do the trick ;)

   lol

whitehorse

only a land line phone

a slight filing with a round file to the back of the hammer where the top post of the buckle rest against the hammer would also work

Have you gotten yours yet ?

blitzkrieger

Negative, just ordered it yesterday so it will probably be shipped on monday

whitehorse

The skeleton belt buckle is very well made and has a quality feel and appearance to it.

This buckle works and looks great. And with a little update to my about 30 year old gun the whole rig will be a paratrooper special.

whitehorse

from the very light weight of the buckle it seems to be made of aluminum that is 100% coated with a smooth egg shell black finish

( again, very nice quality )

heyjoe

its extra light being there is no gun in it.

blitzkrieger

LOL, his refillable mini pistol lighter wont fit in the buckle.

whitehorse

Blitzer,

the very slight filing to the one spot on the back of the hammer of my about 30 year old Spanish Fork NAA 22LR did the trick. The old 22LR fits like a Countach with the NAA Skeleton Belt Buckle now.

X warning do not try this at home X

blitzkrieger

Cool, glad that worked. So the gun is completely secure in the buckle now?

You have a scanner? Try placing the gun/buckle on the scanner and scan it into your computer. I have gotten some pretty good "pictures" doing that in the past.
Guns are a lot like parachutes:

"If you need one and don't have one, you'll probably never need one again"

heyjoe

ok im going to call whitehorse on this yet again. who do you know who actually has a gun that refers to their gun in age as in i have a 30 year old gun for my skeleton belt buckle over and over again. i say i have a baby browning not i have a 44 year old baby browning for my holster.  he/she is full of mularchy.

whitehorse

no worries mate,

we have unlimited free long distance. Is 6:00AM eastern too early to call you ? Where's your phone number ? Why did you want me to call you ?

Looking forward to hearing all about your extensive crime fighting experiences that you brag.

heyjoe

look up two posts dumbo you were the one who wanted to call me.

let me explain this so even a moron can understand it. when someone calls you on something they are challenging you to prove your bullcrap. its not about a phone call.

oh and your last sentance needs an about at the end of it. as it stands now it serves to highlight your illiterate white trash upbringing.

Heyjoe,

you just wrote, "oh and your last sentance needs an about at the end of it. as it stands now it serves to highlight your illiterate white trash upbringing."

The word "ABOUT" is a preposition . One should not end a sentance with a preposition.

My friend, you're "ABOUT" as qualified of correcting another person's grammar as I am.

appliancejunk

I can't decide if you two are just having fun with each other or are angry with each other.

whitehorse

AJ,

Heyjoe is afraid of his own shadow. It is best to take his bullying and immature name calling with a grain of salt. IMO

heyjoe

appliance, whitehorse is a troll we have been saddled with for a year now. his sole purpose is to disrupt any intelligent conversation that is occuring with cartoons, nonsensical statements, circular logic etc. He is as well, a phony, fraud and liar.

Is It Wrong to End a Sentence With a Preposition?

Question: Is It Wrong to End a Sentence With a Preposition?

   Answer:

Quite simply, no. A preposition is not a bad word to end a sentence with. Even in your grandparents' day a preposition was not a bad word to end a sentence with.

But ask a few of your friends or colleagues if they remember any rules of English grammar, and almost certainly at least one will say, with confidence, "Never end a sentence with a preposition."

Bryan Garner wasn't the first to call that "rule" a "superstition":

The spurious rule about not ending sentences with prepositions is a remnant of Latin grammar, in which a preposition was the one word that a writer could not end a sentence with. But Latin grammar should never straightjacket English grammar. If the superstition is a "rule" at all, it is a rule of rhetoric and not of grammar, the idea being to end sentences with strong words that drive a point home. That principle is sound, of course, but not to the extent of meriting lockstep adherence or flouting established idiom.
