I am still in the running for last! Just two weeks until New Years Eve, Flint!

1967

Ya well so am I .... It's a running joke at the gun store .

zippovarga

Thanks Dar! I've never been let down by any NAA I've owned and I'm sure the Sidewinder will deliver!

To the rest of us who are still waiting....Hang in there. I'll post a youtube review just as soon as it arrives. As well as the longest mile we've all waited for this long talked about Mini.

Yikes, the Mayan calendar says the world ends today (been corrected got till Friday) and I just got charged on my VISA!   Looks like I may be out of the running for the last early bird.   What would be the chance of it matching the serial number of my Ranger its the low hundreds?   Too much to ask.  Hey nice Christmas present.

Your right maybe at least I can get a few rounds through it.   Positives would be I wouldn't have to worry about paying that VISA bill?   Curious I was charged Friday does that mean that was the day shipped or will it be this week?

heyjoe

actually the current day mayans say that the date has already passed because they do not have a leap year in their calendars.
It's too bad that our friends cant be here with us today

Sure way to jinx it but my early bird Break-Top was #114.  Looks like they just started into the hundreds.  Would be cool to match it.   Find out soon.  Does make picking them up even more exciting, like waiting all year isn't enough.

Flint,
My cc was charged on Friday and that was the day my guns shipped. I stopped by my ffl this afternoon just to see if by chance they had arrived......and they had! I ordered 1 with an dual cylinder and 1 without. My numbers are EB127 & EB 139. I will post a pic later. Have to trade out the grips on one of them!

blazinwv

I was pleasantly surprised by the sidewinder grips. But yet, had to try out a pair of modified cvang on one of the little beauties.

glenn

Nice !

Tell us Blazin .... why do the barrels .. cylinder flutes .. hammers & triggers look like they are painted gray ?   Are they frosted / glass bead finish ?     Just the lighting ?

Same report here as with Blazin. CC charged Friday, in my grubby little hands today. Numero AWW CRAP ( I was very close to getting the same number as my Break Top!!) 129 with both cylinders, 22lr in frame when received. Pleased so far. Thanks NAA for yet another wonderful offering!!

45flint

I guess I should call my FFL tomorrow, I was charged Friday as well.  Looks like they have blown by my old BT number.  Surprised they didn't give you consecutive numbers?

blazinwv

Flint,
I think not getting consecutive numbers had to do with the fact that I ordered one with conversion cylinder, then opted to order a second a couple of days later, just mag.

The gray areas of the pic are more of a mat finish vs high polish. I eventually would like to "zippo"  ;) one of them......high polish. Maybe over the next few weeks I will find the time.

Still no word on mine.. I wonder if there will be any more going out this year ??

Never fear I was like you and then all of a sudden my Visa is a disaster.  They are already to 139 it seems,  shipping what seems to be every week.  You are still in the running for that last EB serial number.   Looks to me like they will be done by year end.   Steve

#135, 136 are finally home.  Picked them up at the gun store at lunch.  First impressions a absolute home run.  Very well executed, worth the wait.  I love this barrel length, I think it really fits this gun.  Sad to say that it will retire my BT from daily carry.  Only thing I could have issue with is fit of grips.  I would prefer that there is no metal showing around the edge.  That said I actually prefer this new rounded style.  Better hold and shows off the grain pattern beautifully. The irony here is I make grips and this is the first NAA grip I am tempted to leave on.    Well done NAA.

ikoiko

Congratulations Flint.

Yet to receive mine. Maybe next week.

My first mini has grips more like the SW i like them better to but i changed them up for some others that i have had hanging around.  I have 5 minis and i counter 9 extra grips chilling in a box.

Race on to the last EB,  I imagine more will go out this week?  looks like they would be in the 140s. Can't be too many more. Going to the 190s I think?  You guys yet to receive them are in for a treat.

OV-1D

Just ran across two of them on GunBroker auction before I received the ones I ordered from NAA , isn't that special .

Ya might say that.
His "buy it now" price for one is what I paid for both of mine....

Should be tuff since NAA already lists the SW on on its website with the price!

Uncle_Lee

Kel-Tec lists their KSG shotgun for $8 hundred and something.
They sell everyday on Gunbroker for $15 hundred.
I have been waiting for them to come down to MSRP.

But now with obama's gun control, if I want one, I best be getting it.............

I saw a Kel-Tec PMR30 on one of those "Prepper" shows the other day. Made me want one. Another firearm you better grab up quickly if you're going to get one. Actually, I'm still a little wary of the congress being able to pass a new assault weapons ban, because there are so many senators and representatives from rural America. It's not going to matter if all of the urban reps vote for it, if they can't get the rural ones on board. Unless Obama comes up with some sort of executive order, but I'm pretty sure that would be illegal.

("Preppers" of course referring to those who are preparing for disasters with bunkers, food, weapons, and ammo.)

ikoiko

The KSG and the PMR 30 are guns I've been wanting, and watching, and hoping come down in price. Price drop seems doubtful now.

cedarview kid

I have a suspicion that the original 1994 ban killed the Kel-Tec grandfather company, Grendel. They had the Grendel P30 that was a 30-round .22magnum auto, which the ban killed. George Kelgren apparently decided he wanted to bring it back with the PMR30.

I once talked to George Kelrgren at a SHOT Show in Vegas and told him I had a P30. He asked if it was still shooting, LOL. I guess he planned to make the PMR30 of better quality.
