After 4 hand springs flying to parts unknown I finally got it back together with new hammer trigger & pivot screw , $ 55 bucks later it's working , the trigger was bent & the hammer pivot hole and screw were hogged out but its crisp like new but now with a ugly black main screw why they sent a black screw for a stainless gun I have no idea but it wont be in any shows so I don't care , however with the service I also don't think I'm buying the Sidewinder & the 22 short I've wanted so next choice is a taurus 22 Lr 942 snubby and a LCP 2 22 Lr and NAA don't get my $ 750.00

Installed the new hammer & pivot screw without effect and after closer inspection the trigger is bent so I bent it back and it works fine , however I don't trust it after being bent and bent again so ordered a new one and 2 more hand springs after the others went flying

Long time on the phone but I got my parts ordered 32 bucks not too bad - has anyone had the hammer pivot hole hog out ? it's very loose and the hammer would not release from the trigger sear without lifting the hammer , I ordered a hammer Screw and 2 hand springs

Picked up a New ( 100 year old ) H&R "Automatic" in 38 S&W short Unfired , promptly ordered a hard case 2 speedloaders 100 Rd FMJ ammo and a set of Walnut Grips in original pattern from  Numrich Gun Parts , it's not perfect it's been stored improperly causing rust spotting but once cleaned oiled & polished it's pretty Cool

I have a 12 year old 22 Lr short Barrel failure , Cock hammer trigger wont release the hammer , but lift up on the hammer and you can release it ( too much play in hammer Pivot ) , I bought my 1st Mini ( B Ser ) in 1975 ish and have sent several in for Lifetime Warranty repair without any issue ,however now NAA wants me to have a FFL ship it both way's $ 75.00 each way plus my & there shipping , I'm a lifelong Gunsmith and can without any problem do the repair saving $ 175.00 on a $ 200.00 gun , how many flaming hoop's are they going to make me leap through to simply order the parts , 1 hammer $ 18.00 and 1 screw $ 3.00 ?        Thank's Folks

Lifetime warranty my arse

Two hours into the Ranger 2 polish job ( it will take 6 ) and results are encouraging the NAA Logo held up but is less pronounced and even at this early stage it's a thing of beauty , it is a lot of work but I'm retired so nothing else to do

I removed the grips and used the carb cleaner's red tip inside the cocked hammers cavity and washed it out and let it dry and reoiled and it works smoothly ........... I kept the CC away from the NAA lasor logo

10 years ago I polished my 22Lr and it turned out great but the photo's turn out bad my camera picks up scratches the eye does not , but the look in person is over the top remarkable and I'm thinking of polishing the Ranger II ,Has anyone polished a late model mini with the laser engraved NAA Logo ? , and how did the NAA Logo hold up ? or did it turn into a un readable blob ? .............. photos ? ..................... oh got new grips

The polish on my LR mini is about 10 years old now and the photos dont show well but it still looks very nice , do not disasemble the gun its a muther to get back together , I used my dremel & the blue polish truckers use on there wheels it works better then Mothers polish and when done polishing just spray clean with carb cleaner and re oil , dont get carb cleaner on your grips

Got it ........ yes it was worth the wait and it works flawlessly I ran 200 rounds of Hornady - CCI and Winchester  through it and it was a joy to shoot , wait time was 9 or 10 weeks but I'll get over it the only thing that bugged me was I checked with the factory 1st and followed her advice ordering through her recomended contracted dealer 4 miles from the factory on the same day I spoke to her , but it's a done deal and the Ranger is a thing of Beauty , the price point was $ 430.00 + tax and I think was fair

ok next will come the boot grips - what do you guys think of the simulated Mother of Pearl vs the reg boot grip vs NAA's engraved boot grip ?

Thank You

SmokelessJoe,
Super nice collection you have there!!!  Do you store them in a shoebox like Uncle Lee???  Again very nice outfit there!!!

Flyinbiker,
I like the set up in the eyeglass case. That small container,is it a reload???

I called the factory "as stated" asked if there were and delays in shipping , She suggested ordering from the closest shop that has a factory contract with North American Arms it's 4 miles away from the NAA Factory , she then said 4-6 weeks at the most ....... that was a lie

what the hell were you a 0311 ? .............. don't treat me like a *** boot

If you looked I've been on the Forum 10 + years , trying to buy a pricey gun on a VA disability is a bit difficult , Like I SAID the young Lady LIED to me that's why I checked 1st , I asked if there were delays 1st then ordered.

Now the waiting is at 7 weeks , thinking ahead I called the factory 1st and checked how far there backed up , She says oh no not at all were shipping every week , so I order from a gun shop in the same town as the factory and the shop has a contract with NAA , were talking 4 miles here

I just didn't count on the NAA factory lying to me blatantly
