Regarding the stronger recoil springs, I have found that a stronger recoil spring results in less felt recoil.  On my LCP, I changed out the recoil spring to the strongest one that Wolff offered, and it lowered the felt recoil in my hand.  I actually tried this because other LCP owners had done the same thing in order to reduce felt recoil.  Not trying to confuse things, but just trying to share some experience and information.

Thanks Louie.

Thanks for the feedback, Louie.

Do you have a favorite 32ACP carry ammo for your Guardian?

Does the Guardian 32 conceal in the front pocket as well as the Mini-Mag revolvers?

For those of you that own a Guardian 32 as well as a NAA Mini-Mag revolver, I'm wondering how different the pocket carry experience is between the two?

I've got the 1-5/8" Mag revolver and also a Ruger LCP, and the LCP is just so much bulkier in the front pocket that I favor the Mini-Mag 9 times out of 10.  I see that the Guardian 32 is a fair bit smaller than the LCP, but not sure how that translates in real world carry experience.

Thanks a lot Kenny!  Nothing better than actual measurements off the guns!

NAA Products / Guardian 32 Size

Has the size of the Guardian 32 changed over the years?

I was looking at this chart of various mouse guns and it lists the Guardian 32 with 4.4" L x 3.3" H x 0.85" W.

On the NAA website, it lists the Guardian 32 as 4.75" L x 3.53" H x 0.93" W.

Naturally, I would expect the NAA site to be the most accurate source of information on the NAA guns, but the Guardian 32 size dimensions are listed as the same as the Guardian 380.  Unless NAA changed the size of the 32 to match the size of the 380, I suspect a mistake on the NAA site.

Just trying to verify the real size of the Guardian 32, and whether it has changed over time.

I was thinking of ordering a holster from Concealment Holster Solutions.  One of the options he offers is the "draw button" which is supposed to be used by the trigger finger to help while drawing the gun.

It's free of charge, so it might be a no-brainer to just get it, but I wonder how effective it really is in drawing the gun.  Personally, I'd like to be able to just draw the gun and have it come out without messing around with my trigger finger trying to press the "button".

If you have a Concealment Holster Solutions holster with the draw button, how does it work and how do you like it?  Is the gun in the holster snug enough to require a draw button, or does the gun pull freely from the holster?

I think the holster looks nicer without it, but then again if the draw button makes a big difference, then I'd go for it.

   Thanks.

As far as I know, the Velocitors have always had the same Gold Dot bullet.  Even though it's just a plated lead bullet (no jacket), they sure know how to design the pocket in the hollow point to give the bullet good expansion.  Gold Dots are my favorite choice for self defense in any caliber.

Grayelky,  The Velocitors have been available for a while.  Great 22LR round.  I'd say it's probably the most powerful and best all around 22LR that exists.  There are some that say the Aguila hyper velocity 22LR are a little more powerful than the CCI Velocitor, but I'll take the quality and reputation of CCI over Aguila any day.  By the way, I shot some of Velocitors into some loose dirt with a 6" revolvers, and the bullets expanded very nicely.  Just like you'd expect from a "Gold Dot".

Glad that I grabbed some while they were only $7.99.  I was shocked to see such a low price.  Normally, I only see the cheapo 22 magnum stuff like the Armscor for that low of a price.

Thanks for sharing your experience Pioneer.  I haven't actually tested these bullets for expansion, but I've read other guys who have had great results (including you now).  I'd feel comfortable carrying these in my mini for defense.  Can't beat the price at close to half what some places charge for the Speer Gold Dot 22 MAG ammo!

Ran across a GREAT PRICE today on the Federal 22MAG ammo with 30gr TNT bullets.  Box of 50 for only $7.99!  The TNT bullets are the ones that Mndoug found to perform very well in his testing with consistent expansion.  I personally keep my NAA loaded with the new Speer Gold Dot Short Barrel 40gr ammo, but I couldn't resist stocking up on some of these at such a low price!  Lowest I've seen on quality 22 Mag ammo like this in recent history.
