I now carry CCI 22lr Mini-MAG 26 HP, this is due the the Ammo-Quest testing done by Shooting the Bull 410.

I love the Model 29...good ole dirty harry.
I had the choice to buy the Redhawk or the 29, I chose the Redhawk for two reasons the Redhawk deal was just too good to pass up and I'm a re-loader.  Smith's are more refined but the Redhawk is a little more stout.  I actually think the Smith are stronger the they are given credit for, but I think the Ruger's still has a edge in the durability department.   I do love my K-frames as you can see from my NAA forum avatar.

I look forward to you pictures....I think you should post them here and on our AR-15 thread.

Here it is as promised, as you can see I have placed it next to my Ruger Redhawk 44 Mag.

Update:  I just picked my mini up today and it is happily sitting in my jean 5th pocket!

IT'S HERE, I picked up my new little mini at the range and took it for a spin.  Wow, it is pretty challenging to shoot accurately, that is until you figure out the sight picture.

Once i figured it out I was hitting the inner ring with ease.  I started shooting american eagle 38 gr copper-plated hp.  Then followed it up with the Ammo-quest recommended 36 grain hp Mini-mags.  I did have one dud primer strike with the Mini-Mag.  It fired on a follow-up strike once I rotated the cartridge.

One more note: the grips were a little loose, but no worry I had my trusty range bag with a small flat head screw driver.

Let's hope it arrived at my local FFL today.  I plan on checking in the next hour or two....I'm probability driving them crazy.

Sadly it is still on route to my FFL  :-[.  It seems the darn thing is taking forever and a day.  I know I am just impatient when I order a gun  :P

LOL,

I think I already have a problem as far as guns are concerned...At least with the Mini I don't have to buy a new gun safe  :P

Thanks for the warm welcome, I have many other guns but the mini has always struck my eye as a neat little piece.  I can't wait to enjoy shooting it.  I am actually surprised it took me this long to order one as I have been looking at them for a few years.  I sure I will write up a Mini newbie report as soon as I can.

Hello All, I just joined the group and I am a pending owner of a new NAA revolver...I decide to be just a plain Jane, so I ordered the basic NAA 22lr revolver.
