i can't remember the forum member but one or more have painted the front sight orange/red with good results.  hope they answer.  thought about doing this with a s&w 642.

i love my heritage rough rider 22 lr/mag convertible.  150 new, no failures to fire.  accurate as any single action revolver i've shot.  can't beat it for the price.  i have charcoal/yellow laminate grips on mine, but the stock cocobolo grips are nice too.  the finish is not as bad as some make it sound.  100% american-made.

i have the rough rider conversion with 4.5 barrel.  i love it.  i can't see how it would possibly discharge with that safety on, but it's up to you.  taurus just bought heritage by the way.

i have the umarex mp5-k pdw bb gun as well as the umarex-made smith and wesson mp40.  fun for cheap, and good practice for the real deal.

if you squint your eyes a little it looks almost ownable.  wow.  does it say LITE on the side?

welcome shadow.  as a new guy i've also been labeled whitehorse as well as stoner, and paulite (correct on this one).  it's the same as joshing your buddy for missing a freethrow.  all in good fun.

try different ammo brands?  are you shooting from a bench?

i posted about that a while back.  i paused it and took a good look and i think it is a dixie derringer, not an naa.  could be wrong on that.

buddy of mine got caught trespassing and caught a load of rock salt to the back.  also heard a guy was nabbing folks crab cages and a guy sent him out of his boat with a shot of rock to the buttocks.  as for the cut shells not working i've seen numerous videos on youtube showing their effectiveness.  i don't think i'll try it with my shotgun, but if anyone wants to hand me theirs i'll give it a whirl.

this is new to me.  anyone try cut loads or wax loads before?  supposedly it's the poor man's slug.  i'm 30.  poor but not old.  would it be advisable to try a load in a mossberg 500?

people are just crazy.  this is why i've said i wouldn't mind a background check with a mental assessment as well.  sure it would take more time to get my gun but the crazies wouldn't be able to get one legally.  guess they'd get them anyway, that's usually how these shooters roll.  i don't think it's an anti-gun agenda- don't think they'd kill people to get their way (restrictive gun laws).  

   

   doubt it's terrorism, but could be.  i frequented the gas station and craft store where one was killed and one was wounded by those crazy terrorists that were shooting people from the trunk of a car with an AR.  that was some terror.  people were afraid to walk to their cars.

i enjoy it when i catch it on.  i'm with you, no need for the drama, just shoot the *** weapons.  i think a challenge with a NAA firearm would be very cool and also probably quite challenging.

oh sorry you mistook me.  i was saying he will likely be found guilty on that charge.  but like i said, i don't know anything cuz i was sittin' in virginia when it happened.

   well he's in jail now so i guess we'll find out sooner or later.  i for one can't wait to see some real evidence here.  just too easy to speculate without knowing ALL the facts.

i don't know if it's been mentioned on here before, but in addition to the hornady critical defense and speer gold dot 22 mag ammo it looks like winchester is in the game too.  personal defense PDX1 Defender in .22mag.  they are 45 grain jhp with a 1200fps velocity from two inch barrel.  are they on the shelves yet?  anyone try them?

how much do these run?  difference in cost for acrylic versus wood?  thanks.
