If I where to go with the sidewinder I would get both cylinders and swap out the grips for mini master grips.

Get off my guns?

I am not sure what you mean by that turn of phrase.

I really like the swing out cylinder on the sidewinder.  However the sights seem really horrible on the sidewinder.  If I where to get a sidewinder I add mini master/black widow grips.

The primary purpose is for plinking and come with me for a walk in the woods pistol.

For either I would get both cylinders.  I owned a Black widow and I found that the 22wmr was a little more accurate.

Thank you for your input and suggestions.

Will black Widow grips fit a Sidewinder?

Or do they make a black widow style grip for the Sidewinder?

Why would they take a good looking and very functional gun like a Widow and make it into a fragile eyesore?

Do think that the crane on the sidewinder is so fragile that it outweighs the convenance of being able to reload faster.

I had not considered this as an issue.

Ok based on an above response.  Let me put a finer point on it.

Why not make a Sidewinder with various barrel lengths.

2"
3"
5"

IT would take very little change in what was being done.  Just slap on a longer barrel.

I would be happy as a clam if I could get a 2-3" sidewinder.

Yeah

I understand that they are busy.  I understand that it is challenge to tool up for a new variant.

I just want one.  I want one nowwwww.  It would be so wonderful.

I love my Black Widow.  It is one my of my favorite revolvers.  In fact it is the only revolver I still own.

However I do not understand why NAA has not released a long barrel Sidewinder with a better grip.

Maybe I could just fit my a Black Widow barrel to a sidewinder frame.

Could I have a ranger donated to me.  I am a school teacher and I could auction it off to buy supplies for my school.

Please.  I promise to hold the auction in my basement early in the morning when no one can know about it.

Maybe I should bid it up to 1000.00

I would be willing to pay that much.

Thought you all might like to know.

I bid 750 for it but I got outbid.  If I had won I would shoot it until the barrel glowed red.

   No safe queens for me.

It does look nice.  I think it would have been a little better if it had the belt loops on the other side.  The holster would be sandwiched between belt and pants.

   Just my 2 cents

I would really like a BW looking sidewinder.

The BW is just the right length in terms of CCW and ballistics and it has a usable set of sights.

I also really like the look of the barrel with the venting.

Please Sandy make a BW version of the sidewinder.

Yeah i really like the way that looks.  i do hope the knurling changes.

I still wish i knew what the barrel length was going to be.

Does that look like it is 2" to you all or more like 1 5/8"

   Thanks for the picture.

I am gonna get in line for one for sure.

the real question is do i sell my BW?

That drawing really made me laugh.  Thanks.  Good thing I had not started my cheerios, or you sir, would owe me a new Keyboard.

I would happy to trade in my BW if the sidewinder is at least 2"

having a convertible cylinder on a swing out is not impossible.

I would be most happy if it had a 2-3" barrel.
#17
Anyone know what the barrel length of sidewinder might be?  Or how about the kind of grip?

Are we pretty sure if it will be in 22lr and mag?

   Thanks...
