Swedish damsel?? That sounds very nice!!

She's a special gal for sure! Still my partner and best friend after 51 years! On our first anniversary she gifted me with a Browning .22lr Challenger! She rcognized my passion for the 22lr right from our first dates.
I offered getting her an NAA of her choice for carry in her purse as defense weapon but she declined stating "a swift and severe kick in the balls and then run" was good enough defense for her. LOL!
However she has shown some interest in the High standard 22 Mag derringer due to it's simple design.
I tried to convince her otherwise and turn her to NAA but as you know, women have their own ways or resoning! ::)
Maybe the NAA could develop a lady derringer!

Quote from: OV-1D on December-19-24 05:12All I can say is thats a great word "dangum". Not much room for improvement with these mini's Anvil only bigger but that defeats the mini's reason ,to conceal . Just my opinion though . ;)  ;)
Dangum is an old Kansas slang word. it's determined not as offensive as "god dang it" or "dad gum it".
I think it comes from the old kansas Swedish settlements of Lindsborg, Ks.
I latched on to it when I married a Swedish damsel!  ::) ;D :D

Anvil,
I think that the grip design for the Mini Master,Black Widow and PUG are pretty good,at least for me.
I find that the grip on my Mossberg Shock-Wave to be absolutely perfect.
Pretty good combination there, Shock-Wave and Minis!!!
 Top Dog

Thanks TD!
I thoiught they might be egronomiclly beneficial.
But I don't think the frame is compatable to that grip after doing some comparisons.
I do think however the pirates back in the day had the right angled grips for the early pistols.
But father knows best! OV?
#5
I'm just wondering if a scaled down Raptor grip would enhance in anyway the Mini Master hold position!
Is the angle better or worse?
I think I prefer a grip that is a continuation of the arm over than just the hand.
It's more steady and has more balance plus better accuarcy.
But then I'm no expert.

The key word in our post was "offered." They could be offered as an option for those who prefer them.
Agreed! Dot sights would improve m ost all models for accuraccy!

What can be better told of this new caliber?
Is it more economical than the .22 WMR!
Is it more accurate than the .22lr?
Is it something NAA should consider in development?
From what I've read so far it works in .22lr guns but not as accurate as firearms made just for it.
Sounds like the sales department talkling!
Personally, I think the rimfire catagory gambit has purdy much done it's course.
.22 Short
.22 Long
.22 LR
.22 WMR
17 HM2
17 HMR
5 MMRM
And now the .21 Sharp
I'll stick to my druthers and will stay with the 22 short. 22 lr and 22 mag.
However I am intriged with the HM2 if any members can give me more input.

Quote from: OV-1D on December-16-24 07:12WOW Anvil those are pretty original names ,Pug and Earl . Wait I've read that somewhere before . At least you could put MR.PUG , MR.EARL as the sir name . Wouldn't want you get in trouble for plagiarism with NAA . ;D  ;D  ;D
Okay figure out this one...
I once owned a 64' flat bed Ford and named it Winslow.

Well OV, I've hunted prairie treasures for decades. I've found lots of indian artifacts and a very few US cavalry items.
When I retired I got into metal detecting around the old abandoned fort sites but to no avail other than some .44 sharps lead bullets. The ground is just too dang hard to dig down far enough even with a pickaxe!
Anyway it's assuring to have a mini 22 WMR in the holster when you are out on the open range.

Yep, collecting anything is more a passion than for a profit.
However gold and silver might be the exception. ;D

So I wrapped a present for my grandson myself and when I put it under the tree the wife saw it and then wrapped it again because it was not perfect. What? I mean the kid will rip it apart in 5 seconds! ::)
But after 51 years of wedlock you just got to love her! :-*

So now the wife says my recliner looks like a farm thing if not a barn thing and she'll not invite any visitors or welcome family over until I replace the chair. Yeah, I'm okay with that!  8)

So the ghostly white eagle rules and continues on!  :-[
I think if I  buy another NAA I will name it Ghost Eagle!
Yes, I'm one of those guys that name my trucks and firearms as I did my loving daughters!
Get this, I named my Pug, Pug and my Earl, Earl.
Don't get me started on the 5 trucks I've named!

With a new model introduced, a top break or or bottom break wouldn't be necessary. Just a pull out pin like the S model has to remove the cylinder. I really like shooting the 22 short but a longer barrel would help eliminate those pesky keyhole shots. ::)
Adding some brass to the frame would really make it look great too!
#15
This is getting close to NAA today!
#16
Smith and Wesson was the first to intoduce the .22 short rimfire revolver way back in 1857.
So why not reintroduce it in a more modern improved version?
NAA today models are not that far off from the original S&W models.
I know and trust NAA can do it!
.22 shorts are so much fun to shoot and very economical.

A blustery day in the low 40's with a strong north wind so I decieded on sweatpants over jeans on my daily hike for warmth. The belt around my waist without loops caused some slipage but the holster did fit well on my lower back.
Um.. there seems to be some kind of a relationship with retired people and sweatpants.  ::)
My 102 yr. old mom says warmth and comfort is the key to sastifying living! :-*

NAA Products / new holster
December-13-24 18:12
I received  the "small of back" holster today for my new Mini-Master and needless to say our friend Rick has not lost a step in his precision and quality work! He even sent me a thank you note and said this holster is about his favorite.
I love it!
I will try it out on my hike tomorrow! ;D

My 4 inch Mini Master has the  Marble Arms Fixed Sights and my 4 inch Earl Doesn't!
I mean I like my Mini Master but love my Earl and would love it even more if it had these sights.

Aftermarket grips should cost two thirds of the price of the firearm in my opinion.
But then the "wants" often over rules the needs when it comes to us right here on this dang gum forum! LOL

Well, that's the seond one that's broke on me.  >:(
I'm not about to be suckered into a 3rd so Jerry-rigged  it.  :)
It ain't pretty but it won't break.  ::)
JB Weld can fix anything!
And yes, the wife thinks it's atrocious!
Maybe if I paint it brown?

Just out of curiosity, we do not own a short, how much? Is it really that expensive?

they don't have NAA available but most listed are around $365

Eagle grips are more expensive than NAA revolvers.  :(

My opinion about pearl grips is pretty much like Gen Patton's opinion.

But that is just my opinion.

Top Dog! You know way too much! LOL
I reckon I won't be buying the pearl grips afterall.
They really don't fit the Kansas genre anyway. ;D

OMG! Help!
My handle just broke in two on my Lazyboy recliner!
I'm in the far back position and can't get up.
I called 911 and asked for someone to bring me another whisky! :-[
Yep, I'm still there!  :'(

Never thought about it. Criminals using AI? How about government (criminals) using it to find us? Every click we have ever put on a computer is still out there. AI can collate it. Got anything you wish you could "pull back"? Good luck!
Thankfully no one wants to really find me for any known reason. I actually parked my truck out on the street to move out my riding mower from the garage and forgot about it and left it running overnight!
The next morning it was still there ideling! LOL!
The same goes with the NAA. I doubt the goverment finds us a much of a threat as crininals compared to the more deadly centerfire callibers!

NAA Products / white grips for my 22 short
December-09-24 19:12
I found this pic some time ago and saved it. However I've been unable to locate the aftermarket pure white grips offered anywhere online. I like the look it gives more than the pearl.
Any help would appreciated before I have to settle on the pearl.
I wear a western vest often in public and the NAA short conveniently fits right into the watch pocket.

I really think it is up to us, the devoted members to keep things going here. If you truly appreciate NAA's and want to help continue posts on this site then enter some experiences and data.
I recently encouraged a small town mayor into purchasing a NAA for personal protection.
He now has more personal confidense when making appearinces with the cross draw Pug and holster behind his back!
