25 years of being authorized to carry a firearm FOR the state of Maine.  We were always instructed that we shoot to stop not to kill.

8000? small town?  WOW my town and the 3-4 surrounding wouldn't make half that. Love those Pugs, and Blackwidows.  My little BugoutII works for me.  Then I'm more concerned with rabid skunks, raccoons, and what not, or a stray cow in the garden (wouldn't shoot someone's cow no matter how tempting, I like stake as much as the next guy, but I might milk it and send it home dry) than I and meth head zombie biker gangs posing as a ninja death squad.

The Mrs. is cow crazy.  Cow pictures, figurines, keychain, etc.  The first time I registered for a forum, the old handgun hunter's forum, they asked for a username.  HUH?  Well the Mrs. had just picked up an old white cow shaped creamer, with blue printed flowers on it.  Thus bluecow, in kind of stuck.

Uncle Lee,
I just wonder how many knives and such go into the TSA officer's pockets before going on to the auction block???

Uncle LEE,
Storing broken items in a shoe box will not repair them.

It is not like putting a mini (or two) in a shoe box to make them multiply.

I often wonder about how many items the TSA "confiscates" actually wind up in the evidence bin or their personal stash???

I don't buy TSA confiscates no matter how much I may like a knife or what price.  I don't buy stolen goods no matter who's selling them.

I can't Imagin going about my day without a pocketknife.  Food prep, cutting stuff, opening the mail, I just don't seem to be able to open a sleave of crackers by hand without throwing them all over the house anymore.  Then there is cleaning fish & game, battery terminals, etc.  Big +1 about size and I'll add shape of the blade.  I've carried the same knife for 50 years. Western 854 utility/pruner/hawkbill.

Center-mass shots are recommended.

One can not rely on pain to stop a determined, drugged, or crazy assailant. While it MAY stop them, it may not.
While I agree with Center-mass, 2-3 .22's I'm betting evens the odds a bit if things have to go to a more personal touch. ;)

Someday I'll tell about the 4-footer that spent 2 months inside the house. He got a pellet right down his throat.
4 foot snake in the house.  2 min, let alone 2 months. Then use a pellet gun. COW PIES!  12G. #6  a couple of extra shots just in case the darn thing is playing dead.  I'll gladly fix the holes.  Now that i think about it the same goes for a 6" garden snake.

top dog, I meant to add Im kinda on the fence about the snake shot also. The smaller rattlesnakes, I think it does fine, but the 4-5 footers, one shot don't usually do it. But now, it's harder for me to get as close to that 5 footer. You can see by looking at my targets, Im not the best handgun shooter around. Id still rather have the 410.
I love my mini, coons, skunks, and what not, but when it comes to snakes, little green garden snakes and up, I'm partial to a modified choak, 12G pump, with #7 1/2.  6's&5's aren't too bad either. ;)

Or painting brick houses white. It's all the rage now.
And in ten years someone will be using a whole lot of words that will get you banned here trying to remove the white paint when red brick is back in style ::)

I'd like to see them downgrade one gun and make a .22LR Guardian. I've been wishing that for 4 years. I've got a pile of 2-6 cpr .22 and would rather practice shoot it instead of my 60 cpr .32 ACP. I rarely shoot my Guardians because of ammo cost and iffy availability.
DON'T YOU DO IT!
I don't need any more guns.  I don't want any more guns.  I'm not spending $ on any more guns.
A .22LR Guardian????  Hummmm, lets seeee,  Okay one more ;)

Teflon plumbers' tape.  Thin so easy to shim to the right thickness and more important don't leave a sticky residue when removed.

I agree!  I think most guns today look and feel like they came out of a 10 year old's toy box.  I've heard all the rationales for polymer gun frames, and I don't doubt that many of them have merit.  But for me, it's an aesthetic thing.  Also, I resent paying the same price (or often more) than I would pay for a skillfully machined all steel firearm, to buy one made mostly of injected molded plastic!  I know this will invite attacks from all of the Glock and Glock clone fan boys, but don't bother.  I am a close-minded crabby old man, and I'm not going to change now!   ;D

P.S.:  My eyes are too bad to read those dang verification letters, and how much is 5 - 3 anyway?!
AMEN, BIG THUMBS UP, PLUS ONE, and anything else positive you can think of.  It's nice to know I'm not the lone wolf crack pot that some would have me believe. ;)

18 U.S.C. 32, a law that in part expands ?United States jurisdiction over aircraft sabotage to include destruction.  The fAA includes drones in its thinking.  Once again an unelected bureaucrat shows their contempt for hard working, or taxpaying, or land owning, citizens. >:(

NAA Products / oversized wood grips?

simple question.  Are the oversized wooden grips thicker side to side than the standard rubber black widow grips?  I would like something a tad thicker than the oversized rubber grips.  THANKS

The official word is to create a shim if you have wiggle in your grips by wrapping paper, electrical tape or teflon tape (plumber's tape) on the backstrap of the pistol. Electrical tape seemed to be the easiest option.

I guess there's enough variation in frame size between the models that there is bound to be some give here or there. Glad there's an easy fix. Really like the feel of CV grips. Thinner and a tad shorter than Thing Meister (nice grips as well) which fits my hands better.
But Teflon tape is going to be less mess when you take it off ;)

YUP!  It is constitutional carry here, and you are required no notify law enforcement if doing so.  If he/she takes my firearm, they can ask for help, otherwise shut up, be polite and friendly but shut up.

Being someone that shoots from the hip when speaking, and with little or no filter between my brain and mouth ( or key board for that fact) Sandy is going to have to work a hole lot harder to get under my skin.  Oh by the way isn't that what speaking from a soap box is all about?  Stating your opinion and *** the torpedoes full steam ahead.  I might not agree with what your saying but I'll fight for your right to say it, as long as you return the favor.

Someone has done a "switch", whatever their reason is... those are not OEM Pug grips.

Call NAA Monday, give them the serial number and tell them you just bought the gun. Offer to email the photos.

After seeing the photos they may send you a return label and get you into the correct grips for the gun.

I recommend having NAA install the rubber grip. But, there are a few people here that have done it successfully without tearing it.

The dealer should know better if they have any experience with NAA Revolvers.  JMHO
Ya ripped the rubber grips of my Bug Out II 1st time, But I aint putting them back on so no big deal.

Like you said, most vaccines have taken a decade or longer to develop and test for safety. Other vaccines have been pulled with as few as 25 deaths caused. I read reports that for this one it is 110,,, to 14,000 vaccine deaths.
And I just heard the physician member of the local tri-county health board interviewed. He stated that for September, in Vermont (our most-vaccinated state), 76% of the covid-diagnosed deaths were in the vaccinated! Doesn?t sound like it was protecting those folks as well as advertised.
I do not support companies that are anti-firearm (https://www.ccrkba.org/antigunbusinesses).
I will also not be supporting companies that do not support my right to protect myself against unproven or dangerous therapies.  Gotta think more about what to do here. I have been carrying a mini for over 35 years, but time moves on. Dunno....
Since the one you carry is already paid for, I would suggest you either continue to use it, or send it to me and I will deal with it. The part about what to do as to supporting North American Arms or no longer buying their products, well, that is an individual decision each of us has to make. Me? I continue to support everyone's right to choose, and will not bully them for their choice, even if it is different from mine.
Until they publicly condemn and ridicule my choice. It's a short step from condemning  a choice and dictating what someone can choose.  See all the places that mandate you get the vax or loose your job.  I got the vax as soon as i could, and support it ( though I'm beginning to have doubts)  BUT I support more your right to choose for your self.

Okay now give the rest of us a chance.  Shoot the next IHMSA match with the pug:)
