Quote from: Ceemo on October-15-24 13:10Sent two emails over the past six days to have my new Pug repaired, and have yet to receive a response. Experiencing very light hammer strikes. Makes the gun useless. So far, not impressed. I've owned quite a few NAA mini revolvers over the years and have never had to contact CS about any of them. All were flawless. Is this the norm for service?

Sorry to hear that! Can you send me your email or name and I can have them check up on it?

Thanks

Quote from: naaadmin on September-10-24 07:09Because they have been pretty popular, it might be hard to find a Sentinel on the shelf. I would suggest asking your dealer to order it in for you!
I went to the LGS yesterday and asked if they could make a special order for me, and I was told no. "If it isn't available in our store or on our distributor's website, we unfortunately cannot order that for you" was the response.

Sure, I could order it online somewhere and get it transferred, but I really prefer giving every cent to my local LGS. So, I am going to wait until it shows up.

Sorry to hear that. Did you happen to catch the name of their distributor? We can follow-up with them if needed.

Hello everyone!

We are looking for people who have stories about NAA being used in self-defense situations who wouldn't mind sharing! This is for a potential docuseries that is in the works. If we can get a couple compelling stories about NAA minis, we will get this rolling into the new year (our 50th anniversary!).

Have a story? Know someone who does? Send me an email: [email protected]

Thanks

Quote from: Anvil on August-12-24 18:08Also just wondering if there is some particular reason the eagle logo has a white beak instead of yellow, silly question I know.

I was not around when the logo was made, but I would imagine it is for simplicity's sake, lol.

Quote from: Anvil on August-09-24 19:08I found a pic online of the .22 short and it had the eagle logo etched onto the side.

What happened to that? It looks purdy darn cool to me!

The engraving looks a little different now for a number of reasons. First and foremost, to comply with the requirement to have the place where it is made on it. Now they all say Provo, Utah on the side.

Even though the cylinder stays attached for reload, you can still remove it. This is what makes it possible to switch from Magnum to LR. Our gunsmith recommends popping the screw out so you can do dry firing you need without damaging the gun.

Quote from: naaadmin on April-15-24 07:04Like others have said, we don't encounter a lot of stretching issues with our firearms. We get people who talk about their guns being heirlooms they received from family members. If you do encounter any issues, we have a warranty on our guns that covers a lot. We once had someone send in a gun that was lost at the bottom of a lake for a little while. Covered!

My first Mini magnum was made in Spanish Fork. Bought it new back then.
It probably has less than fify rounds through it - all in the first year or two.
The cylinder has some end shake that seems to be excessive, and I was wondering if y'all could fix it?
If so, I'll send it in.

If you give our customer service team a call, they'll know all the exact answers and you could probably talk to our gunsmith about the rattle. All our revolvers have the lifetime warranty on them, so if you're having issues with functionality, I would suggest calling.

Our distributors are all set to have stock on June 17. Your dealers should be able to order it in then.

Perhaps we can adopt you, Lee! I have yet to see an NAA enthusiast that is as passionate and involved as you. Can we send you a shirt for father's day?

The Earl is a special gun! Did you know that it was designed by our current gunsmith's father, Earl? Earl had just finished the design for this gun when he tragically passed away the next day. Sandy thought it best to name it after him. Dustin Hubbard (our current gunsmith) has been with us for quite some time. We love the family legacy and the meaning behind the addition to our lineup.

Stories / A formal introduction
May-31-24 07:05
Hi all-

I recently hit a milestone: one year at NAA. I wanted to follow Hunter's example and send a little introduction to you all so you can get a face behind the name here. North American Arms has been changing over the last year or so, but I wanted to make sure you all know that we are just as personal as we have always been.

I am Rachel Stilwell. I do marketing at North American Arms. While I am new to the gun industry in my profession, I am not new to guns. My grandpa was always the first to say you can never have too many. Some of my earliest memories are his careful gun safety instruction and him helping me learn to shoot. Today, I am blessed to have recently married into a family who is equally (if not more) enthusiastic. In their time, my in-laws have owned and operated a gun range, taught concealed carry courses, and attended every gun competition and show you can think of.

I am a Utah native and plan to stay that way for the foreseeable future. My husband and I got married last August. While we don't have kids (yet), we are accompanied by a Great Dane puppy who is quite the handful. Things are happy.

North American Arms is a very special company. As you know, we are employee-owned and operated. In my one year here, I have been impressed by how thoughtful our management and staff have been about every decision that is made here. It is all personal. Some of our employees have been here decades, and their quality of work hasn't dwindled in that time.

Thank you for being here. We are excited as we continue into our 50th anniversary and expand both our presence in the industry and our product offerings. Our goals are to make NAA more accessible and widely known. I believe in these products and I think everyone should know about them. That's the mantel you take on in marketing, right? Spreading the word.

Thanks everybody!

Hi all,

I find that we go to gun shows and people do not believe that our guns can hit a target or that they are powerful at all. I would love to have a little arsenal of video proof that shows just how powerful they can be!

If you have one you'd like to share, please send it to [email protected] or send it to our Facebook or Instagram pages. I'd love to feature y'all on our pages to showcase the guys who really know their stuff.

Thanks in advance and I am looking forward to seeing what you've got!

While we wait for some shots of the Sentinel to get edited and released with the release of the model, I recommend this video from SHOT show this year. It touches on the Sentinel a little.

Good morning!

The issues that we have been experiencing the last few months have been (likely) largely due to the fact that the format template was out of date with our operating system. It went down again this morning and our IT guy just decided to make the jump to update the look.

Hopefully nobody is experiencing functionality issues.

Stories / Re: Logging in
May-23-24 10:05
We have been experiencing an onslaught of AI-powered spam posts recently, so we figured that would be the simplest option to stop them. If it is a big inconvenience, we can switch it back and look for other solutions.
#25
At your suggestion, the videos are in production! Our whole sales/marketing team will be at NRA this week so they likely won't be done until the end of the month, but you can expect them. Meanwhile, we are sending a couple out to Youtube gun accounts for review.
#26
The off-topic sections of the forum were removed because the posts that were on there ended up being not about firearms whatsoever, which doesn't have much of a place on a company-sponsored forum. There was also a heavy amount of contention, which lead to threats, doxing, and everybody reporting each other's posts to be deleted. We made the decision to pull back on that end of it.

As long as your stories have something to do with guns or have a connection to NAA somehow, I think you'll be alright.

Nice hand cannon! We'd love to see more pictures :)

I'm pretty excited about this model for a couple of reasons and will buy it in June if it is available at my LGS. The aesthetics, weight, extractor, night sights, and it side loads are great features. I was eyeing the .22 short NAA for a bit, but may end up getting it after the Sentinel.

The more the merrier  ;D

My fingers are getting harder to pull the pin. Might get one Just for that. Today at the range had problems loading mini. Not Minis problem. Was my fat fingers.

This is feedback from the Sidewinder that we've had for a while. Hopefully this larger pin helps people out!

Yes, that is a star extractor that you can push to unload the shells.  :)

Hi everybody!

In an effort to keep y'all in the loop, we wanted to share with you that the Sentinel is on track to go to our distributors mid-June. They should be available to order shortly after. We are excited for everyone to get their hands on it! The "pug-winder" has been a labor of love for a few years now, so we are excited to see how this does and hopefully get some more spinoffs in the future!

Here's the info recap:
Specs:
.22 Magnum / .22LR Conversion
Swing-Out Cylinder
5 Shot Capacity
1.425? Barrel
4.9" Long
7.354 oz

Let me know if you have further questions, and I will do my best to answer them.
Appreciate you!

Hi all,

I am approaching my one year anniversary at North American Arms, and I am hoping to spread the word a little more effectively. There are so many people out there that I think could become enthusiasts, but they aren't quite familiar enough. So I figured I would take a poll of our enthusiasts here. I know many of you have been around for years (or even decades!). I want to see what is working and what isn't. I have seen comments on other topics, and those have been so helpful.

My question is, what brought you in? Was it seeing it in stores? Magazines? A recommendation from a friend? Youtube? If you have multiple NAA's, why?

If you carry your NAA every day, what is it that keeps it in your pocket?

I carry a PUG. I like how concealable it is. I often find myself out for a run or walking at night, and I have peace of mind in my pocket. This gun fits my lifestyle.

I'd love to hear your thoughts!

I mentioned this briefly on the messages to webmaster portion of the forum, but it's a bug that stuck ever since the forum went down a few weeks back. We are trying to get it worked out. Not sure what the problem there might be. The operating system is pretty old.

Hi there!

Remember that weekend a few weeks ago where the forum went down? We think it might've been due to a huge cache of information that was stored on the forum. Our IT man (the guy who built this forum, actually) went in and cleared the dates and time stamps from a few of the older posts to try and free up some more space. Ever since then, the site has struggled to hold onto those time stamps for longer than a day or two. It is old software that is kind of clunky. We are trying to figure it out! Hang tight.

Hi there!

I would suggest calling customer service and seeing about getting it sent in for repair. We don't want you to be having issues like that.
