Outstanding video. The exact answers to a few questions running through my head lately. Thanks for taking the time!

I will be watching this closely. I recently purchased the 1-1/8" LR and would very much like to see any results you obtain with your similar piece.

Thanks for the warm welcomes. I have a friend that had a glock slide powdercoated in black chrome. I wonder if it would be possible to powdercoat a mini or would the tolerances on these tiny guns be just too close to be able to add the thickness of a powdercoating? Just something that crossed my mind while looking at some of the pictures. I am considering buying another, one to remain factory original and another to customize.

Nothing here that you fellas haven't seen before but I just bought it last Friday and I love it. It's just a standard LR version with 1-1/8" barrel like has been pictured several times but it's mine and I wanted to share. I think I want to customize it in some way but am not sure exactly how yet. I am going to take my time and read through all of the posts of this site and decide what I like best. Heck, After looking at all of the neat rigs that have been pictured here I'm already considering buying another.

I never let the hammer fall into the safety notch. I guide it slowly with my thumb while holding the cylinder with the other hand (so the notch stays aliened) then after I think the hammer has seated I attempt to turn the cylinder to make sure it seated. Then I double check by looking to make sure there is a half chamber on each side of the hammer while attempting to turn the cylinder again.

As everyone has said, practice until you think you got it, then practice some more. Always with it unloaded.

I have only had my mini for about a week but your method is exactly how I do it. Good to know I am doing it right.

I have the same curiosity. I recently purchased a standard LR version with 1-1/8" barrel but am also interested in the SW version.
