Awesome, thanks man. I will give them a call to find out where they source their jade. Yes, real jade is very expensive and also hard to work with, adding to production cost.
#4
Thanks!

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you.

I'm in search for real jade grips but can't find any. I thought, okay, I can surely find a jewelry artist who works with stones.

Does anyone have a recommendation?

You a Smith, Ruger, or Kimber owner? They have forums + those topics. May consider joining there. Wish NAA had these sections too.

NAA makes excellent firearms. But like all manufacturers, there are occasional issues with any man made item.

NAA has great customer service and warranty. They will fix you up no problem.

I'll send 'em an email and ask!

I would like to know my revolver's date of birth and put it on my calendar. That way, on its birthday, I know for a fact I must hit the range and plink some cans.

Anyone know?

I am also ordering online because my LGS has been sold out.

I would add the newest NAA model, the Sentinel, to your collection!
#14
Wondering if anyone has had any problems with the new Sentinel or could point me to issues they've seen online. Just want to make sure that there are not any major issues with this model!

Congratulations! I want to see more shops around the country sell NAA firearms.

Sadly, no Sportsman Warehouse here in Oklahoma.

Is there any discussions to bring NAA firearms to Cabellas/Bass Pro?

I don't have a Switch and have no interest in one. It doesn't look like a firearm and has a gimmick look to it. It also occupies more physical space than a .22LR or magnum NAA.

Many people do like the Switch and say good things about them, but I cannot get past the aesthetic issues. I want my hand cannons to look like cannons, not credit cards.

"Open and concealed carry are legal without a license in Kansas. Anyone at least 18 years of age and legally entitled to possess a firearm may openly carry a firearm in public without a license or permit. Permitless concealed carry is legal for anyone at least 21 years old that is not prohibited from carrying a firearm. Carry Handgun Licenses (CCHLs) are restricted to residents and members of the military stationed in Kansas. The minimum age to obtain a provisional CCHL is 18 years old and 21 years old to obtain a standard CCHL. Applicants must complete an 8-hour handgun safety and training course approved by the attorney general. In terms of reciprocity, since Kansas has permitless carry, any person 21 years of age and older who can legally possess a firearm may carry a concealed firearm on his or her person without a license or permit. In addition, as of July 1, 2021, all valid concealed carry licenses/permits issued by another jurisdiction are recognized in Kansas for non-residents."

Bums can get very, very violent. I stopped going to the local park because so many arrived, like rats huddled together boozing and drugging themselves and causing mayhem for citizens just wanting to walk the dog. Wanting no trouble after the last woman was stabbed, I just stopped going there. Makes me sad about it, was a good park.

Quote from: naaadmin on September-10-24 07:09Because they have been pretty popular, it might be hard to find a Sentinel on the shelf. I would suggest asking your dealer to order it in for you!
I went to the LGS yesterday and asked if they could make a special order for me, and I was told no. "If it isn't available in our store or on our distributor's website, we unfortunately cannot order that for you" was the response.

Sure, I could order it online somewhere and get it transferred, but I really prefer giving every cent to my local LGS. So, I am going to wait until it shows up.

Sorry to hear that. Did you happen to catch the name of their distributor? We can follow-up with them if needed.

The LGS distributor is Sports South.

NAA Products / The Sentinel is sold out

Been swinging by the LGS every week to see if one is in the store...and nope, not there. Very sad.
#24
When is the release date? I asked my local LGS and they had no idea.
#25
Man, that is a great story, ksblazer! I'm glad that the victim was able to fight back with his NAA revolver. I have a feeling that when he blasted a .22LR into the attacker's jaw that it knocked a few teeth out as well!
#26
lol the strawberry shot was the best result.

Thanks for the update - That is great news! Looking forward to the YouTube videos.

I got a wad of $50s just waiting for this hand cannon to land in stores at my LGS. I'm pretty excited to add a 2nd NAA revolver to the collection and EDC rotation.

Any photos or videos of this bad boy in action???

Howdy, NAA friends! It has been pretty quiet here on the forum. As a new member, that is a bit disconcerting. Until NAA releases photos and video of the new upcoming Sentinel model, I've been watching YouTube videos about NAA firearms and have enjoyed reading a lot of the comments. NAA has a deep fan-base, but they're not participating here sadly. Would it not be cool to have an off-topic forum right here on this site where NAA friends can shoot the breeze?

While reading these YouTube comments, I noticed there is a constant discussion about whether the NAA firearms are adequate enough for self-defense. The arguments for that they are and that they're not are endless, and it isn't my point to bring that up here. I thought it would be fun instead to copy and paste some comments I've found where users claim they've used their NAA firearms for self-defense. Some appear genuine and others less so. I'll start with one of my favorite comments I found on a YouTube video about NAA revolvers:

NAA Story 1

"It did save my life in the Bronx New York one evening, I still have the knife mark from when the thug robber put his knife against my side.A shot in his criminal thug throat saved my life that night so don't knock what you do not know anything about. He did not even see the gun as I took it from my pocket. I still carry mine and am never without it in my pocket even while i'm home. I had a 38 J-Frame in my waste band but knew I could not remove it without being stabbed to death. Like Jeff say's, Carry it in your hand when in a Parking garage or the Walmart parking lot at anytime. The N.A.A. is not a target gun but it is a great SELF DEFENSE GUN."

NAA Story 2

"I have been carrying one in .22 mag for 20 years now. The only time I ever used it is when I was under a house working on plumbing and got bit on my boot by a copperhead snake. I shot the snake twice in the head . He had moved between me and the only way out. I was very glad I had it that day."

NAA Story 3

"This tiny NAA revolver in .22 mag. absolutely saved my life a few years back. I'm not a huge guy, I was 42 yrs old, and seriously out of shape (at the time)... when a 22 yr old, 260lb, 6'2" (former football lineman) neighbor decided to try and beat me down to make himself feel better about his pathetic life. This gun just happened to be in my pocket, to ward off loose dogs while I was mowing. Bottom line: As he unexpectedly closed the gap between us and went to grab (and punch me), I was able to pull the gun & fire off a shot into the ground, which resulted in him freaking out & running away like a little girl. The fight was ended without anybody getting hurt... A victory no matter how you look at it."

NAA Story 4

"An acquaintance of mine went to go pick up his son from his ex-wife's house in Tampa. He was ambushed by his ex's new significant other (the son of a Tampa police officer) with a baseball bat and was hit several times. Being a relatively upstanding citizen with a CWL, he produced a .22lr NAA mini revolver from his pocket as he was being beaten and managed to shoot the aggressor once in the head at a few feet, ending the fight and killing the attacker. He was arrested and tried for second degree murder, even though he had visible strikes to the head and arms with a bat. I have no doubt that because he shot the son of a TPD officer, they wanted revenge. He was found not guilty after his ex finally admitted that he was set up to be attacked at the trial and claiming self defense, after serving over a year in jail. How's that for corruption? He had to sue to get his revolver back and carved a notch in it."

Nice hand cannon! We'd love to see more pictures :)

I'm pretty excited about this model for a couple of reasons and will buy it in June if it is available at my LGS. The aesthetics, weight, extractor, night sights, and it side loads are great features. I was eyeing the .22 short NAA for a bit, but may end up getting it after the Sentinel.
#32
I'm new NAA owner here myself (see this thread: https://naaminis.com/smf/index.php?topic=26842.0)

I have the NAA Wasp .22 magnum and I knew immediately after holding this firearm for the first time that it was very well made, durable, and will last longer than me. There's no way rimfire is putting that much stress that these beefy little guns cannot handle. I'm currently at 750 rounds of .22LR and 150 rounds of .22 magnum. No problems with the firearm at all. The only component that would eventually need to be replaced is the spring just like any other gun.

The more I look at it, the more this model may end up in the collection on launch day...
