For me, the 45acp was a good thing because I can share ammo with other guns I own. Do not own anything for .45 long Colt. Bsides that I thought it was pretty!

QuoteOops....I looked right past "Vaquero" and was thinking DA revolver..... ::)

Here's the Vaquero - it's a single action, but I don't see how that changes the discussion.

Bearcatter,

I have a Ruger Vaquero revolver in .45ACP. It's model number is 5152. No moon clips are needed. How do they make that work?

Strawberry Hill. I still puke when I smell strawberries.

"Permission Denied". Really? Must be invited to view?   I feel so left out!

tempus fugit. I am quite impressed with his level of care and concern for the welfare of his employees who helped him to build the business.

I completely agree with this - what a wonderful way to continue the NAA traditions!

The muffuletta is God's gift to New Orleans. And New Orlean's gift to the sandwich-loving world. I have never had a better sandwich - especially when warmed up thoroughly! The muffuletta roll is about 12" in diameter!

Welcome, Shane - you'll find a lot of knowledgeable folks here and they are all willing to help you get more enjoyment out of your mini. Never be afraid to ask questions!

Stag Party?

Stag is the perfect grip to me. I watch a lot of old TV westerns - seems everyone had stag or ivory grips. Except for the bad guys, of course.

I don't see how you could make it any better! That holster is what Grandpa called, "Slobbering pretty"!

I saw those glyphs on "Ancient Astronauts". Yes - I have been known to watch it. But I draw the line at "Finding Bigfoot."

That's a beautiful holster for one of my personal favorite edc pieces!

Here's a holster for your admiration...how much for one like this?

Took me FOREVER to find the LR & the mag. They are worth the trouble - very, very nicely proportioned and the grips are beautiful.

NONE of the many ffls in my area will ship a gun. What's a fella to do?
#16
The size of the revolver and its caliber are meaningless when the barrel is pointed at YOU! Good to see the mini doing crowd control!
#17
Thanks for the timeline, Uncle Lee!

I have one of the Baby Berettas, too. I was amazed to see how accurately the 92 was miniaturized! It's fun to disassemble/reassemble. It does everything except fire the tiny rounds.

The Kid and Rick.
It is like being in love with two women at the same time because they are perfect in different ways.
Well, The Kid's leather never did have the "smell".

They are both amazing craftsmen - just have different styles! If you can't find the leather smell in the Kid's holsters you are not sticking your nose in there deep enough! Mine smell lovely.

I finally caught up with the Absaroka Kid on the phone. He's doing just fine and very optimistic now that the snow is finally receding.

The good news is that he is fine and dandy - the bad news is that he's burned out on making holsters. (I told you you should have bought them five years ago!) He said he has a lot of guns of his own that are naked because he put so much energy into dressing our minis for so many years. He said he needs to catch up on those when the spirit moves him.

I was sorry to hear that among so many other things, Covid has made him postpone his Africa trip. He really wanted to do the big game thing. I didn't ask but I assumed that he wasn't planning to use his NAA Minis on that hunt.

He's spending his days shooting 500- 1000 rounds per day and reloading at night. Must be nice!

I will always be grateful for the fine leatherwork he did for me. Below is my Magnum Buntline.

I have been playing phone tag with him for a couple of weeks. I Will let you know if I finally get him on the line!

I'm a big fan of the .32acp.  I have a Tomcat, a KT P32, and a Beretta 81 (Italian police trade-in.) Oddly. the little bit of snap with that caliber seems a little more pronounced in the largest and heaviest of them - the Beretta 81. Not that much, but seems more to me. I still love it! I think it's very good looking! I don't know why I never bought a Guardian - I think it reminds me too much of the Seecamp,
which I hated.

Luther, I am so very sorry for your loss. We are always sad when a Loved one passes, but I cannot imagine how difficult this must be for you. I pray that the hole in your heart will be filled with warm and precious memories.

Rick - you said "extra money". What is that? Is it something new?

Sandy, I believe you have voiced the feelings most of us have as 2020 slithers toward its end. Not hopeless but straining our abilities to remain hopeful. Not yet frightened, but carefully looking around corners. We're buttressing our personal support systems and evaluating possible options.

Still, I think most of us hold out hope that things "will work out o.k." as they usually have before. As Andy Dufresne said in Shawshank Redemption, "Hope is a good thing. Maybe the best of things. And no good thing ever dies."

I'm sorry but 450 to over 500$ for a 1" Pug NAA prices are getting out of control for that kind of money I can buy 2 decent 9mm semi's or a really nice Ruger revolver or a whole bunch of other nice guns. JMO

I'm with BigBird. Most of the NAA's I would like to add are the special editions, and the short manufacturing run on those makes the cost trend toward ridiculous. When a gun's price reaches above $400 I have high expectations. I LOVE my NAA's - but a five-shot revolver - and a .22 at that - is limited in its usefulness. Just thinking out loud here and I am NOT bashing NAA.

Danielle, I have both of them - did you have questions?

Flash, that Stevens / Savage 71 is a beautiful little rifle! I really like the color case-hardening and octagonal barrel. The gold trim is pretty, too!

You're not on my ignore list - I just haven't been feeling chatty. How are you?

I have a Ruger Vaquero revolver (model 5152) that is .45acp. I don't know much, but it seems to me that if .45acp works in a revolver, .32acp should work as well. Am I wrong?

What shall I do?

There is no doubt that NAA's customer service is excellent. It's been proved time and time again.

I admire that - I truly do.

BUT wouldn't it be wonderful if none of us knew how great CS is?

The most impressive reputation they could have is that 99.9% of the firearms are just right, right out of the box.

Just thinking "out loud".
