Dear Board Administrator:

Is there a way to "mark as spam" any phrases or keywords?  Rather than put someone on ignore but allow them to not show as new posts to review?

My thoughts would be to ignore posts that say "welcome to the forum" (three years later) and nothing else  or have the word "tactical" in them with an inane response.

Folks could also choose to avoid incendiary words such as race, Obama etc.

Thanks for your prompt answer.

Perhaps you could develop the software patch for this forum feature that you propose.

Two-Gun,   Don't leave!  You, Uncle Lee, Grayelky, Dinedan, OV and a few others are the lifeblood of this forum.  Life won't be the same without you :(

I consider myself to be in the same category.

As well you should.  I always liked your witty and humorous style.

Back when the complaint was that I was rude to him, he was posting under five names.

What were these names?

The word trolling comes to mind...

I don't see how.

Is the ankle carry piece a back up weapon or your primary?

Backup mainly.  Although I could see situations where it might be primary carry.
#9
Wouldn't that be an NFA weapon of some sort?  ???

So you are saying try before you buy?

:D :D Seems like a lot of new people are participating in this forum as of late.

Yeah, I noticed that too.  It seems that a certain poster on this forum who liked to jump all over newbies is no longer posting here.  No telling how many people were driven away from this forum because of that one poster.

I'd be curious as to what holsters your guys have tried that didn't work.  That would narrow my search a little bit.

Any recommendations on an ankle holster for a .32ACP Guardian?

Guardian in .32ACP.

When you said some minor gunsmith work, would that have included any work done on the heavy trigger pull? I have had trigger work done on 2 Smiths and a Bond arms SnakeSlayer and was wondering if a gunsmith could do anything to help the trigger pull on the Guardian? Was seriously thinking about ordering one.

Yes, some work was done on the trigger pull.  The gunsmith I used did not replace any parts, just smoothed things up.  He measured the trigger pull weight both before and after with some type of weird gadget, and according to his measurements the trigger pull weight was reduced by approximately a pound.  That being said the trigger feels a lot better and is definitely smoother.

Guardian, since the Clinton Era.

He's the one that got me on the NAA watch list.

So is G50AE a forum moderator or administrator of some sort?

I read about a shooting method called "Quell" (I think) that involved those "guttersnipe" sights. IIRC, it had to do with that nifty ASP 9mm compact pistol.

Interesting history behind that sight type. Apparently, it requires specific training to make full use of them. Some of the stuff is non-obvious.

Could you provide a link with more information?

And just out of curiosity why does the forum ask me, "How many legs do most dogs have?" when I go to post?

MR_22, heyjoe, and G50AE, thanks for the welcome.

The Guardian has served me well.  It is basically stock with some minor gunsmith work.  I have thought about getting new sites put on it.

G50AE, your memory serves you well old friend.  I still have my Walther PPK/S.

Hello everyone.  I have owned a .32 Guardian ever since the Clinton years.  At the time I needed an easily concealable firearm and was considering the Guardian, along with a similar firearm from Autauga Arms, and the Beretta Tomcat.  I chose the NAA Guardian over the other two firearms based on advice from a member of this forum, G50AE.

G50AE pointed to certain facts that really swayed my decision.  The different manual of arms for the Beretta due to the tilting barrel, made the Beretta less desirable.  G50AE also mentioned that North American Arms had been in business longer than Autauga Arms and had an established track record with their mini revolvers.  On the whole I am grateful for G50AE's advice.  Autauga Arms is no longer in business, and I am happy with my Guardian.  :)

I look forward to participating in discussions on this forum.  G50AE told me about this forum and recommended that I join up.
