Pretty minimal but since I've started carrying more often than not figured I'd contribute instead of just drooling.

Lr, keys, money clip with knife/scissor/file from one of my uncle's weddings when I was a kid, and a surprisingly durable $5 card holder from Walmart to hold the plastic necessities.

Haven't had any experience with their customer service (or lack thereof?) but I've thoroughly enjoyed my TCP once it got through the break in period.

I think I read somewhere a while back that there was a small batch of TCPs that were duds.  The article listed the impacted serial numbers but it sounds like yours was a recent purchase and this article was from a few years ago.

Hope they make things right for you.

Those little mags can cost a lot for such a little one.
$45 and up.

$45 is the cheapest I've seen...$75 the highest.    :o

mine with the wood grips works great. crazy item though, only bauer mags work. i have many baby browning mags and they will not feed.

Thanks, Autofull:  I'll make sure Santa sees the footnote on my Christmas list since a spare magazine is on there for this little guy.   :)

And, thanks to everyone else for the previous compliments and insights!

Finally added to the family after almost 2 years.

Looks like all the original paperwork (minus a registration card?) and the original box.  Gun itself has virtually no wear inside or out.

Encountered a few pairs of these on eBay while on my lunch hour today. Seller has two more pairs if any one is interested. 29.99 and free shipping seemed more than reasonable considering my slow poke self didn't move on these as NAA was discontinuing them right when I bought my first NAA. Not my auction just wanted to pass along in case any one else was interested.

Sorry for any typos or "auto correct fails"...doing this on a phone and not the computer at home.

Occasionally those pop up on gun broker ... think they were going close to 300 about a year ago.  I paid less than that for my wasp combo so I couldn't rationalize this purchase...yet.

I want to say I googled and found one or two for sale at random gun stores across the country.

Always thought it was strange that they made a bit of a splash with this model on their Facebook page but nothing was ever said on their website or the forum.

Good luck...and please post pictures when you secure one!  :D

I love the grips on your Wasp, ptrck!  Can you share where you got them, or who made them?  Thanks!   :)

Thanks, guys!

Jimmy...the grips on the wasp are a material called Kirinite and I got them from Spresser Knife Works about 2 years ago.  Charles has a small assortment of NAA grips on his ebay store (he has quite a gallery on his site if you google his company).  The color is Desert Camo.  About a week ago he had another set of these on his ebay store.  He does a lot of grips in natural materials and I have noticed he's dabbling in something called Shokwood.  I've asked him how the two compare and he said the kirinite is slightly more durable but both should provide a lifetime of use.

Had mine for two years with no issues...knock on wood.

I remember a few posts a while back that dealt with the skeletonized hammer and premature breakdown.

I think it's a neat design but a novelty at best.

Probably not a coincidence that only one gun out of the entire NAA line has the skelentonized hammer.   ;)

Wasp with conversion cylinder was my first NAA purchase a few years ago.  Saw it at a gun show and it sort of stuck out amongst the other NAAs on the gentleman's table.  Price seemed fair so I unloaded the Christmas money I'd been sitting on.

My only complaint is that the grips gave a bit of hand-bite when I was shooting magnum rounds.  I've since switched them out for some kyronite grips and found them to be a great fit and more comfortable for me.

Still, many on the forum seem to enjoy the cobblestone grips but I'm not one of them.   :-\

I'd like to get one of the LR wasps that NAA released a while back but the few I've seen on GunBroker are asking more than I'm willing to pay.

Hope you enjoy it!

Holy cow, really? Halloween doesn't work like April Fool's Day now, does it?

That was my thought, too.  But, then I remembered there being a post about some big news in November and figured this was it.

Wonder what the pricing will be?

Sort of curious what her justification was for shooting...doesnt sound like her life was in danger.  This could've ended a lot differently than it did.

Finally got my second today.  Older sibling has kirinite grips so I'm not sure what little bit will get.    ???

Noticed what I first thought was a blemish on the hammer is actually a small NAA eagle on both sides.

They've been popping up on eBay quite a bit lately.

Not even a legit HOA in my opinion...just a satellite management company here in Georgia whose home office is in Texas.  Glad we're moving.

Anyway, enough of that.

Sorry to hijack your post, Nastruck!   :-X

Nice looking gun!

I finally got around to ordering the LR this morning with some birthday money I'd been sitting on.  Got home this afternoon to a letter from our pea-brained HOA requesting we paint the exterior of our house...nine days before we're scheduled to close on it.

Needless to say you won't be the only one holding off on that close out deal.   >:(

I agree...take a shot at their perfect rating.  You might even want to drop a line to the auction site about your experience with the seller.

I kind of wonder if they realized what they had and might re-list it at a later date for a higher price?  Usually sellers will state if the item is for sale locally but it doesn't say that anywhere in the listing.

Saw his review of the 22 mag pop up on his Facebook page when I was coming into work. Haven't had a chance to watch yet. Here it is on youtube.

Yep...discontinued.

I've seen a few on eBay in the last 3 months.  Some seller had about two or three of them and was selling them for about 130 a pop  >:(.  Think they started at 99 but had a buy it now price of 130.  I watched one or two of them just to see what they'd go for and all went for the buy it now.

Saw another one that was included in a lot of NAA goodies.  Don't know what the closing price wound up being.

I'd like to have one for the novelty of owning one but at that price I'd rather throw in an extra 60 bucks or so and just get a 22 LR to keep my Wasp company.

Probably not for everyone but definitely unique...

Knew they made the pen gun a while back and I recall someone posting an old advertisement for a pocket knife gun in another area but this is the first time I've seen one of these.  Interesting bit of information about the company in this listing as well.

Watch pocket of jeans or an iwb holster I found on amazon for 10 or 15 bucks a while back.  Has a reversible clip for left or right hand use.

My only gripe about the rubber grips was the texture gave me a slight bit of "bite" when I'd fire the magnum rounds in my wasp.  (To the point I didn't really like the gun if I couldn't fire shorts or lr.)

However, I kept reading all the posts here and sniffing around eBay and came across a material called Kirinite from Spresser knives.  It's widely used as knife scales from what I've read.  Didn't find much here on the forum about the material and not too many seemed to have had any experience with it.

I'm very pleased and it's a lot more comfortable when I shoot magnum rounds now.  Probably not something to consider if you're set on the rubber grips but just wanted to mention it.

Been in Georgia all of my life and all the women I know are fairly against carrying but not the least bit opposed to having guns in the home.  Don't know if this is due to stories in the news about gun-carry go wrong, firearm fright, the practice being viewed as masculine, a belief that the only time/place they'd need a gun is while at home, or something else all together.   ???

The one exception I can think of is an old boss:  She never flat out said she carried but always reminded us during the holidays that if we were ever held up to just hit the floor and she'd handle it.  This was always said with a crazy smile and a light pat to her purse.

That is a great looking set of grips.  Truly starting to regret not grabbing a set when I could/should have. :'(

You supply the gun, and it will look a lot like this for about $350-$400. Less coverage of course would drop the price.

Beautiful, Grayelky.  I think that's the perfect level of engraving for my taste:  just enough to make it stand out yet not over the top.

Taurus TCP 738 10.2 ounces .380 my everyday pocket carry with extra magazine.Cost $220 -$280 better trigger than Ruger!

I've thoroughly enjoyed my TCP as well...particularly like that the slide locks open after the final round.  I got the two tone that came w/ the extra magazine for about 250 back in January.  Additional magazines w/ Taurus seem to be pricey from what I've read.

I find myself thinking more and more that sellers on eBay, gun broker, etc., are just there to parade their merchandise...they're not actually interested in selling their merchandise or else they'd start with an opening bid that would truly make it an auction.  Not mine and I can't rationalize that asking price.  Hope it goes to a good home.   :)

For general clay bird & thrown tin can shooting, some low brass, light load shells in #8 or #7 1/2 shot are the way to go. If you should ever decide to follow in Grandad's footsteps & bag some squirrels & rabbits youself, high-brass, full-load #6's are hard to beat.

And for house duty- they used to load #1 buckshot in 16 gauge, I bet they still do. Just in case.  ;)

Thanks for the recommendations, UncleS2.  I'll have to see who still sells what in these parts.  Sounds like at one point there wasn't a whole lot of demand for 16ga so manufacture was cut back...but that was from an article I read that was written years ago.  I love a good ammo hunt and people said I was crazy for buying an NAA b/c I'd never find 22 ammo.  I found a nice selection at one of the box stores within a week of buying my wasp.  Brother in law never did tell me if he wanted crow or humble pie at the next family dinner come to think of it.

For years I remember my father saying that his grandfather had left me his shotgun.  I'm not sure how this is possible since my great grandfather died in 1965 and I wasn't born until 1985.  At any rate, my father brought it over this afternoon.

16 gauge Fox Model B (Savage Arms) Shotgun.  Never been a shotgun enthusiast but this one struck a note with me because I do like history and snooping around my family tree.  From what I've researched this was a "working class" gun (he was a police officer) and based upon a lack of serial number (there is a group of letters instead) I'm thinking this would have been from the 40s-60s since the serial numbers didn't go into place until a law passed in the 60s.  Posted a pic of the letters.  The last photo is just where I had noticed he put his initials.

It'll need a good cleaning since it hasn't been fired in probably 40+ years but my dad said he'd be surprised if it wasn't still working.  I also thought it was funny to see my dad drift back into his child hood talking about all the rabbits, squirrels, and so on that his grandfather killed with this gun while the two of them were out in the woods.

Here are a few pics and thanks for allowing me to share!

Junior year it was the JV soccer goalie.  The girl couldn't hold a conversation to save her life and I spent the majority of the evening bored out of my mind.  I did end up being my school's first prom king so the evening wasn't a total bust.

Senior year I went with friends and left early...again because I was so bored.

Think my wife said she skipped both of hers and went to a nice dinner with her two best friends at the time.

I have to agree...wouldnt want my mini attached w/ my keys.  However...this is one keyring gun I wouldn't mind.   :)
