I put the BW rubber grips on my Pug for a more secure grip and they work great. It lives in a pocket holster in my rear jeans pocket every single day. Very handy friend to have along.

On the other forum I frequent they have no minimum, we get spammers and unwanted bogus ads constantly. I would keep it the way it is. 15 posts is nothing to join a great bunch of like minded individuals with solid information at hand. Also lot's of great pics for Uncle Lee.

Hmmm...I am not sure that one will wind up in my collection.

And a Peacock brand pocket warmer! Not as common as some that are available.

Welcome to the NAA gang! So have you started thinking about your next one yet? Black Widow, Pug, hmmmm. :D

Congrats on the anniversary and sweet holster sir.

I have the Henry Small Game Carbine in .22M and it is smooth as butter and a sweet shooter. Octagon barrel and receiver peep sight. Balances very well in the carbine length, the longer barrel felt off balance to me.

The LGS here has a black one for $199 so they are starting to show up.

Pretty cool video. I am going to have to practice that reloading grip demonstrated at the end, you can tell he has done it a few times. All though little gems waiting to come to us!!

Nicely done Uncle Pepper! Range report when you get a chance to get out please. Love the balanced look of the 2.5" on there.

Can it be done?-Yep
Should it?-only if I was in a very serious situation and had no choice.

If the case bulges it could be tough to remove, if a case should split near the rim you might get hurt. My dad had an old revolver when I was a kid that split cases regularly (very cheap .22 lr) Burnt our hands frequently so he got rid of it. Just sayin'

Sometimes it is good to stock a solid firearm even if the margin is a little low. You have a great selection there.

I have had NAAs since my Spanish Forks combo and I have carried it in the old NAA IWB holster and in my pocket w/o a holster and never had it nudge out of the safety slot. However, I only keep the gun in my pocket, no keys, change, pocket knife ect. My Pug and BW usually ride in a leather pocket holster (Thanks. Rick) and never any issues there. If she will be putting it in her purse (if it is like my wife's purse) it should be in a holster. Either the appropriately sized sticky holster or one of Rick's pocket sleeves. Minimal added weight, improved safety and protection.

Looking forward to seeing the 2.5 R2 in the flesh. Kept telling myself I need to stop at the 4 I have, but where would the fun be in that!

I have four, they arrived in the following order-
1 5/8” combo form th e Spanish Forks era.
Original Sidewinder in .22M
Pug in .22M. Trit sights. This one gets carried a lot. Sporting a MM grip.
BW Combo w/ Fixed sights. Second most carried.

Set of Magnum boots grips
Set of CVang magnum grips

Several holsters for the BW and Pug

So I am ok..Right?  Not in too deep....?

Probably $1300-1450?  Ammo doesn’t count as I feed it to others in the stable also.

NAA Products / Re: Pricing in my area
January-22-19 08:01
I shop local when the oppurtunity arises, they have the model I am looking for, etc. I have a LGS I did lot's of business with and they always sold at MSRP or lower unless it was a very special or limited item and hard to get. At list, as with cars and such, the margin is already there from the manufacturer/distributor. If they sell a common item (Glock, Sig, S&W) for hundreds over MSRP they are making extra due to demand (either actual or in some cases imagined)  ;)

Beautiful engraving and finish work! The combo of style of engraving and finish resulted in a very classy piece. Nicely done Otto.

Welcome aboard and enjoy the mini. Don't worry about the Bugout, if you are like 99% of the rest of us it is just your "first" mini. The BW and Pug are 2 of my favorites. I will add another vote for getting Rick to twist you up one of his holsters, very nice work from him.

I have the Henry Small Game Carbines in .22 and .22M, our favorite to long gun .22s to shoot. Accurate, well made and actions smooth as butter.

Get the combo, minor upfront difference in cost and will be much more fun and versatile! As mentioned, if you have an issue after purchase NAA will take excellent care of you. I have an old original combo, sidewinder, pug and BW and not one issue.

NAA Products / Re: Felt recoil with mags
December-16-18 21:12
I shoot mags in my pug and the BW and they are both a hoot. I shot the Pug enough that the original grip started to tear so I replaced it with the grips from a Mini Master and it really added some grip. I thought it might as they are virtual identical to the BW grip except for the spider emblem. As mentioned, get a combo setup on the gun you choose, it makes it much more versatile, cheaper to practice with .22lr and cheaper than sending back to NAA for an additional cylinder if you find the mags recoil bothers your hand. Good luck in choosing, and like the rest of us, you can always get the other one next 8)

NAA Products / Re: Lovin’ my Pug!
December-16-18 21:12
I really enjoy my Pug and BW. The Pug goes virtually everywhere with me. I did upgrade to the MM grips and it helps with control without significant added bulk. One (or more) of Rick's holsters and you are all set. ;)
#27
Yep!  +1

BB-I also have several pocket holsters for my Pug and BW that keep it upright in the pocket. As the OP had mentioned he did not want added bulk I figured a sleeve would suit his needs. Also, if you happen to wear Dickies Jeans with the cell pocket on the right thigh, a Pug in a sleeve fits perfectly concealed and is easy to retrieve, the BW grip sticks out a little more. Shrouded hammer on all of mine as recommended by others.
#29
One of Rick’s ( or another’s) sleeve holsters adds very little bulk, but adds protection from dust, lint and dislodging from the safety notch.

Saw 2 in a Spokane LGS a couple days ago. Thought about it but forgot to see if they had the taller front sights.

Bill-I changed my Pug to the MM grips like you did and it made a big difference in the handling. After a little while I didn't notice the size difference as much as the improved grip. Plus, now it and my BW handle almost exactly the same.

NAA Products / Re: Joining NAA FDorum

I have had my 1 5/8" combo for many years. Found the forum a couple years back and now have 4 total. Added a Sidewinder mag when they came out, a Pug mag, and the last one to join the family is a BW combo. They all see action, the Pug gets carried the most in rotation with the BW. The original and the SW are in the safe most of the time.

There is no hope Bill, you need more displays for your Pug and Black Widow sets, and then there is the Sherrif and hog leg, and MM, and..... 8)

These also carry well in the cell phone pocket of Dickie 6 pocket jeans. My Pug practically live there when I have them on. Grip is just below pocket opening. I ordered on for my BW from Rick today, it will sit a 1" higher, so while it will be secure, it will show. Rick does very nice work...
