I have the same holster from Absaroka Kid. I enjoy it. When I first got it, it was pretty tight but it broke in well. The only issue I have with it is the gun tends to turn upside down in my pocket with it. Like you, I didn't like the looks of the RBKA holster, but I understand the design now.

Got my CVang black plastic grips. Love them! My only regret is that the Rosewood versions are no longer available.

FAQs / Re: Carry Ammo

I shoot every weekend, and like others mentioned above, I shoot what I have loaded. So by default I get fresh ammo every week. Tha ammunition itself however will last a long time if kept in a reasonably good environment.

CWLONGSHOT, I really like that Earl, Had my mind made up about the Mini Master, now I'm not so sure, may go the Earl route!

Regardless, looks like the 4" barrel is performing well with rat shot.

NAA Products / which one?

Been a NAA owner for a very short time, but I am impressed. Have a birthday coming up in about a month and was asked what I wanted. I want another NAA.

It would be a replacement for a .38 special that I use when fishing or gardening. Over 90% of its use would be with rat shot. Mostly used against snakes, but sometimes groundhogs and other garden pests.

I want the Mini Master 22 Magnum / 22 Long Rifle combo. Here is my question. How does the 4" barrel do with rat shot? I know that in 38 special, the 2" barrel throws better patterns than the 4" barrel. I'm guessing that the same would be true with the .22.

Should I adjust and get the Black Widow instead?

Got my Asbaroka Kid holster. Extremely happy with it! I'll try and get a picture posted!

Just ordered my grips and holster. Thanks for the input.

For the Grips I went with the CVang. Unfortunately I waited too long and had to settle for the glass filled grips as the wood was no longer available.

The holster is coming from The Absaroka Kid.

I think I will like both, but am disappointed that I did not get the wood grips. Think the plastic will be more than functional though. I may end up with a set of NAA boot grips. I think they would look great with the holster.

These days, just finding .22 Magnum ammo in a store is an accomplishment in itslef, at least around here it is! For something to shoot, just remember that NAA specifically recommends against using Armscor ammunition in their guns. Other than that, whatever you can find the cheapest is good enough to shoot. What will be the best? Whatever shoots the best in *your* gun, & finding that out will require a lot of shooting. Having said that, the old original 40-grain FMJ & HP versions by Winchester & CCI are probably a good place to start. If you can find it, there's a cheaper Winchester version(Wildcat?) that should be OK for practice.
I thought it was PMC we are told not to shoot. I just bought a brick of Armscor.

Just got my first NAA mini. 22 Mag, 1 5/8 barrel with conversion cylinder. Looking for recommendations on grips and holsters.

I want bigger grips, trying to decide between the boot grips or oversized rosewood grips. Anybody have them who can give me your experience?

Also thinking about the inside the pants holster. Is retention good on it?
