Stories / Re: Simple question .

I'm lucky this morning.
Came close to dropping my Wheaties.
#2
Well I sure did mess up that post. huh?
#3
Just got out of an eight day stay at the Hospital.
Right now I am having trouble with the keyboard, double vision....
#4
They will probably end up giving you a totally new one.
#5
Now, this gets to my heart.
Thank you NAA.
May you and yours have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

NAA Black Jacks 1.
I bought a pair with consecutive serial numbers.
They came Mag only.
I got 2 LR cylinders and sent them off to get blackened. NAA told me who blackened the minis. I sent them in and they made them black.
Then I sold them to someone here on the forum.

My picture file is too big and breakfast is ready. I got back.

Right.
And I could 100% happy here if all my thoughts, wishes, and desires were based on North American Arms. But they are not.
The way the forum was touched all those needs. Now it does not. But I will be here because it is necessary. I have too many "family" here. To see them post tells me that they are still above ground and I like that.
There are some that I worry about if they don't post for awhile like Zorba (but I check other websites to check on
him.). I was worried about the bear but posted and I know he is alive.
There are others that I am happy to not see them post.

Ya, some folks got up out of the bed and walked to the bathroom.
I rolled off of the bed into my little office chair and the wife rolled me to the bathroom. She then rolled me in to the big office chair in front of the computer. And here I am until I get rolled over to my big easy chair to watch the TV.
If you look, there is something to be thankful for.
If you look for bad, everything is bad.

Quote from: Bigbird48 on November-23-24 16:11I find that the new Admin really don't care about are wants or wishes.  >:( They don't care for our forum and sure don't care about the right color for the logo. >:(  :(

Now you are beginning to understand. Read then re-read then take a break for a sandwich.
After the sandwich, come back and read your post three more time. You are correct on everything but one.
"They don't care for our forum". It is not nor was not ever "our" forum. We were just looked on differently by the previous owners.

Quote from: PocketMagnum on November-24-24 06:11You a Smith, Ruger, or Kimber owner? They have forums + those topics. May consider joining there. Wish NAA had these sections too.

Sure, those forums are out there, but our family (that is what they were) is not there.
Yes, we were a family. Like families, we argued and disagreed like all families.
We were in the wrong for letting feelings get out of hand. Well it wasn't just us. Sandy encouraged the close feelings by treating us like family.
But now Sandy is gone and the forum is run by people with different goals for the future.
There are/will be those who were here but in their heart were not family. They will be happy here now.

If you are going to stay, stay.
If you are going to leave, leave.
You do your self no good by lurking and posting now and then to say you miss the old days. They are gone and you only open the wound by coming back now and then.

Dog gone, Bear, were you gone????

I could not let my children go to just any empty bed.
I know that they will feel warmth and love where they are until they must go to someone else.
No one owns anything. They are just caretakers while they walk the earth. Then what they have gathered goes to someone else.

Different strokes for different folks.

Quote from: OV-1D on November-18-24 13:11Heck Unc you can actual say "I've fallen and I can't get up" . You joined the ranks of t.v. nobility , cool . ;)  ;)

That is what I said, in the voice of an old lady, when they looked into the bathroom. Got a big chuckle out of it.
Relieved the tension also. They didn't know what to expect except "an old person has fallen".
#16
You see what those who know best have posted.
Now send it back.
They would not mislead you.

Sip, Sip, Ahhhhhh

That is perfect.
I can't say anything else.

The wife fights for room. I try to sleep right on the edge so I don't wake her up. Well 2 times smacking the floor  and I now have a guard rail on the top half of my side of the bed.
#19
Well I done it.
About 3:00 am this morning I woke and had to pee (curse those water pills). I reached over and pulled my little roll around chair up next to the bed. I eased my big behind over to the chair like I have done dozens of times. Problem????
I only got one cheek on the chair so it rolled away from me and I smacked the floor like a big ball of pizza dough.
That was the first time anything like that has happened. We found out real quick that there was no getting up without help. We agreed to call 911. They were there in about 10 minutes. The wife let them in and showed them the bathroom where I was lounging on the floor like I was on vacation on a sandy beach. One of them asked me what the problem is.
In the best old woman voice that I could muster up, I said "Help, I have fallen and I can't get up." They lifted me up got a good laugh at my expense. Filled out some paper work and left.

That was my night.

Wife is still cussing because I missed the chair and got her up.

Be sure to put a curse on the ones who come with evil in their minds.

No matter what your health is like today, enjoy every minute of it, because the day will come when it starts to fail.
Take a hand full of minis today and go to your shooting spot and shoot them. It was said that you don't own them. You are just the caretakers of the minis. One day, they will go to someone else.
#22
In the past, an e-mail to Jessica would get that info to you.
I don't know if the new management will do that for us.
Send an e-mail to customer service and see if they will do it.
#23
Ya, gebe,
You know how I feel. I do still have most of my innards but the rest of the body is shot.

Thinking it over, I would be very happy with a 4" Mini Master with a Sidewinder cylinder if it allowed a speed loader to be used. That could be fixed really easy. Let the cylinder swing out a little more.

November-13-24 08:11
I suggest the most costly first.
If you buy the cheapest first, you would be less likely to pay a higher price for the next one.
Or you could buy a pair of each. 8)

In the past, there was the Early Bird program. But that got stopped. I guess it cut into the bottom line too much.
#27
From what I have read, we just took the House also.
Now if the party will move off their easy chairs, work can get done..
Yay, Yay.
#28
"But then how many members here wouldn't want a Mini Master 6" with a swing out cylinder? ;D "

I want one, maybe, two.

I have had 4 knee replacements.
They are like your bank account. The more you put in to getting movement back the better they will be.
Don't work your knee and you could end up with a knee that don't work. I worked hard (and hurt hard) and I have always ended with full range of motion.

Quote from: OV-1D on November-05-24 15:11Now how can you starta collection by doing one for one . Never get rid of a gun thats already paid for , that sheriff must shoot 22's also  ;)  ;) . Funny thats the one NAA I never thought to buy just didn't like its looks for some reason or another . Its that release pin for the cylinder I couldn't rap my head around with the release lever sticking down in front ready to catch on a holsters interior possibly ............... Didn't want to slow down my lightning fast quick draw . ;D  ;D  ;D  ;D  ;D

Quote from: top dog on November-03-24 06:11OV-1D,

I agree with you on that. Tooling up for another product would require a lot of money for sure.

Uncle Lee,
As you know,NAA already has a nice 32........the Guardian but that is not a revolver.

I wonder just how much larger a 32 mini revolver would be??

                                                  Top Dog

I have a 32 Guardian and it is a cute little handgun.
Problems: I can't rack the slide or pull the trigger. Old hands...
