TO ARMS , TO ARMS the liberal socialists are coming . Load and prime your weapons . Don't shoot till you see their UN patches or the Obama bumper stickers , literally . And shoot any politician that says he wants to help you or us .

Gus1759 what cal is the S&W mod 19 it looks a lot like my bodyguard 380?
By the way, NICE GROUP!!!!

Gus1759

It's a .357 magnum, I use to carry as a back up in an ankle holster in my trooper days, made me move like " Chester looking for Marshall Dillon" ha , took a night or two to get use to it. We switched to 9mm with 15 rd. magazines and I quit wearing it. Used it as an off duty weapon after that.

Gus,
That is the first High Standard derringer in 22 mag that I have seen in blue. Seems that when they first came out in the early 60s it was 22 lr was in blue and 22 mag was in nickel.

If memory serves me correctly,I paid about $40 for my blue 22 lr HS derringer back in 1967 from Gil Hebard Guns in Knoxville,IL.

I still have it,but it has not been out of the safe for decades.

Nice collection. The High Standard is an "odd looking" pistol, I like it (I like odd looking cars & trucks too!) weird, I know! lol!!

Thanks for posting and a great idea for a thread. I may be able to scratch out some time to get a quick pic of mine today.

TopDog those High Standards are going for some big cash now I'm sorry I unloaded mine so to say thinking I wanted more than two shots . Goes back to my old adage never sell something that's already long been paid for , dang .
