I had one the first time, it' just I've been paying my credit card off for the last 7 years, that's why I remember the price so clearly, if it hadn't have been for the $50 discount it would have taken me another 2 years paying the minimum payment :)

Rick,

Has Bud's provided a shipping status update?
Better yet have you received your Ranger II?

Rick's link to Bud's is back working again but it still shows a Sidewinder but says Ranger Break Top.
They are also showing "Out of Stock".

For Rick's sake I hope they had some in stock and have been able to fulfill his order.

Their description is interesting as they list it as a limited production.

"The Ranger is a limited production .22 caliber (WMR) single-action mini-revolver. Inspired by the Schofield-modified S&W top-break design of the 1870's which was used by the U.S.Cavalry as well as the 19th century fighting forces around the world, the Ranger is a classic design reinterpreted by the craftsmen at North American Arms. Only a simple nudge from the thumb caused the barrel and cylinder assembly to pivot forward, with a cam-activated star presenting the spent cartridge cases for easy removal and reloading while the cylinder remains attached to the frame. While still a very concealable and effective personal protection weapon which is designed to be shot-a lot- the Ranger sets a standard in the watch-like feel, fit and finish for which NAA handguns have become so highly regarded. The Ranger is another one-of-a-kind offering from the mini-revolver specialist at North American Arms."

Not yet.  They said 4 to 7 days. But that is a "standard" answer....

They may not have them yet.  Customer service did say they are "Reserved" for me so they are pre-selling stock they have coming in.

It's ok.     At least I have more in hand than I did from NAA

I checked the photo as well.  I assume they didn't have one of the R II and used something close.  After reading and comparing part numbers I figured it would be ok to order.  If they sent a Sidewinder there is enough documentation to support I was buying a Ranger II that could get a refund.

I look forward to having one in hand soon......

The description makes it sound like the original Breaktop/Ranger. Perhaps they found a few down the back of a filing cabinet :)

QuoteLike holsters that fit.

It looks like Black Widow holsters will fit.  At least the ones on the website appear to be Black Widow holsters.

Rick_Jorgenson

They will fit in a sock to.   Just not very well....

No offense to the NAA Holsters, its just an observation of the ones I've seen in person. (JMHO)

They are "inexpensive" though....

Many here on the Forum own one or more and are quite happy with them.

I looked and didn't see anything new that was specific to the Ranger II.  The leather holsters are the same but I have been able to form fit them, I form fitted one to my Sidewinder and it looked pretty good.

I just meant it looked like NAA started adding accessories for the ranger 2 to their website.  Starting with existing holster products that could be used for the ranger 2.  Should have been more specific.  I tend to use a minimum number of words at least some times.  Seeing ranger 2 stuff  starting to show up on the website is nice IMO.

Rick, they suffice until we can get one from another much nicer custom fit holster maker in Arizona  ::)
They kind of take some pressure off that specific holster maker/craftsman. :o

"They will fit in a sock too"

I tried that, it made my feet sore, my shoes hard to get on and I had to make sure I wore slip on shoes for a quick draw - suddenly a holster seemed like a great idea :)

Rick,

Did you see that Franco22 called Bud's and they are now saying that they never had Ranger II's to sell?
You may want to confirm your order and hopefully they did have a few and you are in on their sale.

Bring on the PRESSURE!!! lol!!

Got the call from Buds - No Rangers.....

I'll need BigBird48's Ranger after all!!  I'm making him a belt now (found a "long" enough hide!) lol!!  Now I guess he's going to get some Holster's  for use of his Bug-Out, Sheriff, and now the Ranger.  I hope he doesn't remember he can make holsters!! lol!!

I'll take a compliment any time, I must be up to 3 or 4 by now, and it's only been 57 years :)
