Ok so I've just hit the 75 round mark with the Earl. Using Goex 4f, NAA 22 cal bullets and Rem no 11 caps.  One hiccup caused by cap expanding into cylinder slot locking up and requiring cylinder removal. Otherwise flawless performance. Penetration test was done on 1" treated deck board (new wood) .  fired 10 rounds from 3 feet away. None penetrated. I'm guessing it went in a little over half an inch. Equal to a 22 short if I had to guess. Question:  can anyone suggest a powder charger for this revolver?  Its very difficult to dump powder in cylinder with the tiny scope. Thanks

I looked at pan primers for flint locks.  That might work.  Need to find one that drops 4gr.

I use the small measure/funnel as shown in the photo below. Gives me 4 grains and a funnel for loading in the cylinder.

That will work.
I used one for my black powder mini.
Find one that drops over 4 grains and file off the end of the spout until you get what you want.
Make sure it is not sharp because you will cut a little hole in your finger when you are pushing the spout in to fill it.

I use a small paper funnel now but always seek an easier way to do it.

The wife suggested I use an cake icing tip for putting frosting on cakes. Its thin stainless steal with an 1/8" opening. Works perfect. Costs about 1 dollar

Tell your wife thanks.

My wife got a new cupcake pan.  "Honey your old pan was so crusty I got you a new one".  I now cast 2lb ingots that stack nice and have a big flat base to mark hardness on.
