A recent acquisition I thought might be of interest.

I believe it is circ. 1982  belonged to a long time friend of mine.  He said he shot one box of shells and possibly two then cleaned it and put it in the gun safe.

The trigger on this is really nice and smooth (I'm no expert but I can even tell its smooth!) lol!!

There is one scuff mark on the right side of the barrel.

I have the box and all paperwork. I forgot to photo the box, it is well "worn" and not pristine.

It is looking for a permanent home, I'm not on a Colt Forum so I thought I would show it off here  ;)

Pictures were taken right out of the box. I haven't cleaned it yet. The white mark on the rear sight is foam from the box.

WOW, Rick your collection has grown since the last time I stopped by!
My Daughter took my 4" Stainless Python that she shot in competition.  They are a great gun, one of the best revolvers ever made.

I inherited a few firearms, reloading gear, reloading supplies, 120 to 125 firearms.

Once I have the sale list finished for this batch I'll send you copies

Winchester Rifles, Remington Shot Guns, and mostly S & W Revolvers (there are a couple of "low end" 1911's)

and a few others...

Ruger Super Blackhawk 200th Annv. edition (pre-warning verbiage on the gun),  Dan Wesson .44mag, Browning Citori 20ga. O/U, CZ Rifle (I don't have a complete list yet, only working on a few at a time)

Dealing with about 35 guns for this round for sale. Some to individuals, some on GunBroker.com

Beautiful pistol there, I have a blued 4 inch from about that time frame and I love that gun. Trigger is awesome and it's very accurate.
Always wish I had a 6 inch blued version also but now they are out of my price range.

The Python sold for $2800  Private sale

It never made it to GunBroker.com  A customer saw it in my shop and had to have it!  And, ordered a Holster for it (+$225.00)  :)

$2800 was a nice price for that stainless Python... (the scuff mark will come out easily)

Rick,
Wow you made him a smoking deal but I'm sure he is one who will appreciate it.

Did you get any photos of the holster you made for it. We need leather porn here if your going to talk about!

I got laid off last week so I'll finally have some time to wander North to say Howdy one of these days.

Looks like a move back to Texas is coming up as part of the new retirement.
