I'm hooked, might as well join the conversation. A new 22lr followed me home to keep my black widow company. Now they're both talking about some cousin, "Earl"??

Welcome northwoodneil!

Well... I would recommend the 3" Earl and the 4" Earl... then since you have both of those you should "close out" the "octagon" barrel guns with a 6" Hog Leg as well to keep them company  ;)

Another thought might be to finish off your "square barrel" gun collection. A 1" Barrel Pug and a 4" Barrel Mini Master would keep the Black Widow company as well.

The Pug is a nice little Back Up Gun very easy to carry with any other gun and the Mini Master is a fun gun to shoot!

No pressure! After you buy them all next week post some photos!  ;)  The peer pressure here always leans towards acquiring Mini's if you haven't noticed  ::)

I did notice the 4" Ranger sitting in the case next to my LR was looking lonesome when she left.

Welcome. You know their names. You have been lurking!  You know that Cousin Earl  comes in Cap&Ball black powder also?  Like the crazy uncle he is slow and dirty but more fun than dad.   Post often. New blood.

Welcome Neil,
I would recommend a pair of each of the revolvers and a pair each of the Guardians.
After you pass 15 posts, post a picture of each as they come in.  8)

Lee-- there have been a couple of guys in the last weeks that posted pics with the 1st or 2nd post. Have the rules changed? ( BruceRds and RiverDan).

Northwoodneil,

OHNO!!!!!!!!!!!!!  You now have the "disease"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Between trips to the LGS to get another mini,I suggest that you also order holster's from Rick at Desert Gunleather.

This way,it balances things out.

Welcome to the forum,we will "assist" you anyway we can.

My BW is dressed in an Absaroka Kid cross draw. Desert Gunleather is making some great holsters and when the time comes will be where I head.

O&G, I don't know about any rule changes, but I was able to post photos immediately because I use a third party photo hosting site, rather than trying to upload photos through this one.  I belong to over a dozen different forums, along with being a founding member of a very large one, with combined posts exceeding 100K (I'm actually not nearly as active as many forum members!), so I'm well versed at posting photos.  Because of this, I use one centralized photo hosting site for my 2,000 or so photos.  It makes it a lot easier to categorize, find and post photos from all my interests.

Helcat1-- Thanks for the info.   Please think about starting a topic on how to post pics and video. With links.(simple for old farts ;D) I have stuff stuck in the computer that won't post.  At this point you would know all the tricks. What service is good and who is bad.  I know of guys who lost all there stuff or were screwed by the third party.  They gave free service then when they were in deep they started to charge. Don't pay and could not get there stuff.  Not looking for free just to know up front.  Thanks.

Howdy Neil, welcome aboard.
Some here have a few, some have MANY.  It's all good!
My first two minis (a LR and a .22mag) have been with me between 35 and 40 yrs. The last two (a 4"Earl and a tritium sight .22mag) arrived in the last 10 yrs. Their size makes it easy to have one with me all the time. Quality.

Two real good choices you have there , keep going . ;)
TO ARMS , TO ARMS the liberal socialists are coming . Load and prime your weapons . Don't shoot till you see their UN patches or the Obama bumper stickers , literally . And shoot any politician that says he wants to help you or us .

Welcome and great choices!!

My slip on rubber grips came today. Utah to WI in 3 days, way to go NAA. My wife says the rose wood grips are to pretty to take off but I want the better purchase of the rubber ones. Once I slip these on will I be able to remove them without damage? Or am I going to have to buy her, her own pistol so she can have her rose wood grips?

Sorry, those don't slip on and off very easy.
I guess you will have to go ahead and buy her own mini.            8)

Welcome!

Assume you mean for the 22LR mini not the Black Widow  :P

I like the boot grip for the smaller grip on the 22 Long Rifle and Short models - https://northamericanarms.com/shop/accessories/gbg-l/

For the Black Widow I like the rosewood grip - https://northamericanarms.com/shop/accessories/grw-m/

Both are out of stock at the moment.

I looked at a used Pug once upon a time that had the slip on grip.  The grip was really loose on it; enough so that it would need pushed back in place every few shots.  Maybe the grip had been pulled off a few too many times.  The seller wanted "new retail" money and I would have had to spring for a new grip on top of that so I took a pass.  But it makes me think the slip on grips shouldn't be removed/reinstalled too often.

FWIW here is my mini with boot grip.  IMO best of both worlds.

northwoodneil

Flash, I thought about the boot grips but went with the slip on's because I want to keep it's profile smaller. I've got a set of rose wood grips for my BW and put them on when I'm showing it off. The original grips stay on it when I carry it. Uncle Lee, I think the wife might have already claimed this mini, I just might have to deal on the Ranger II. ::)
