When those old posts were posted,
they were proper. They have changed
in the last few weeks.

The forum has been acting weird over the last year or so. Now whenever I make a reply most of the sections list as having new un-read threads in them that I must leave, enter another section and then go back and enter the newly posted thread to get it to clear out and show as read. The "mark all threads as read" button in the main section will not even clear them out.

Makes differentiating from new un- read threads or stuff I have replied to difficult and frustrating.

I would start by clearing the cache and the NAA cookies

I suggested that Rogue clear his cache and cookies in response to his problem with unread threads. I don't expect that to fix the character set problem.

I don't do Apple, so I don't follow the tech groups for IOS for example. I wonder if others have found this character set problem in other sites. That would tell us a lot. I suspect it's a problem in IOS, not the server.

But I've been wrong before . . . not too often though . . .
