hello all i finally got to shoot my wasp today. actually my wife shot it first. it was great to see this little pistol shoot before shooting it. she shot the 22 lr first. I was happy with how straight it shot at 10 ft. she said it jumped a little in her hand. then she shot the mags. i loaded remington rounds. the shot good but when trying to remove the empty casings it was a little tough. then i shot the cci mini mags they shot even better. removing the empty casings they removed well. i did find that if you had the hammer drop on an already fired casing it was vary hard to remove. i found that with me i had to aim low right to hit center. does anyone have any ideas what i am doing wrong?

possible your trigger finger is pushing up and over, I've been using the holster grips when I shoot, and using a two hand hold which makes for fast followups. I tried a mini years ago and never enjoyed shooting because of the lack of control.

I always hold my thumb on the top back of the grip, to avoid the gun from flipping up. Seems to work better. So does two-handed.

So, N.C. that's you NAA are you getting the accuracy that you mentioned (unhulled walnuts at extended distances) with the mini grips ?

Since this is your first time shooting a mini, don't let it bother you. The guns are hard to hold, and hard to control. I suspect you will be quite happy with your results once you get a couple of hundred shots down range. One of the pluses of the dual cylinder guns is the lower operating cost to learn their quirks.

I always tell people that "these guns are a challenge, if you can do it then you're a great shot." I agree, gray. It's nothing a few hundred rounds won't fix. I kind of like the "feature" that if just anyone tries it they won't have the right idea of what it's all about. It's sort of a "secret safety."

We know better. Get a few hundred rounds through it and you'll totally dominate a plinking competition with someone who's never shot one.

i find using my offhand thumb pressed against the backstrap stabilizes the mini best for me.
