Looking for a new holster for my stardard 22 lr mini wanting leather any suggestions

Pocket carry? Make it your self out of somewhat thin leather. I have worn out 2 of these. Easy to make, adds no bulk to your pocket, protects the gun and your pocket from wear. Belt carry, for woods walking? Still doable, but I would buy one. There are a couple on the board who get rave reviews. Concealed carry? Either leather or Kydex, both work well. Position and/or location of your personal preference will some times dictate which material will work best. Of course, "best" all depends on who you talk to.

Moslty it will be pocket carry with the kind of work i do . I could use outside the waist band holster for a back up

NAA sells an inside waist band holster that makes a pretty good pocket holster if the metal clip is removed. Even better if you can run across a used one someone else has already broken in! (I have 2.)

Rick Jorgenson makes excellent holsters. I have a cross draw for my Pug. He has a lot of mini's.

I have one of Rick's holsters and can attest to his high quality. Mine is the pancake style.

Until I found this well broken in NAA holster, I just marked the lines around the outside of the gun on a piece of suede and hand stitched it while watching a movie. It involved needle nosed pliers and a little heavier than normal needle, but it was not hard. Mine would not have been called pretty nor good craftsmanship, but, it did work. When it wore out, the next one looked a little better. Besides, no one will see it. I did not care how it looked. It did stop my pants pocket from getting holes worn in them.

Very nice holster BigBird I just don't do crossdraw pancake holsters , not my style but if it was I'd ask for yours . Feel better , ha . Dang !

Thats not my hoslter QV thats one of Ricks That I got from him . I removed mine. I had it up for anyone who wanted it for 5 days and no one even made a comment on it. It might not have been top quality but it was hand made and engraved and thought I'd offer one to anyone that wanted it. But I guess if its not perfect its not good enough. Live and learn I guess.

yea well you know I thought maybe someone needed a free holster for a Black Widow. But Like I said you all want perfect. I wear mine all the time and everyone tells me its pretty nice.
