This came up in another thread and I decided to post it in a separate thread. These numbers are from the ATF web site.

In 2016 NAA manufactured 63084 revolvers.

In 2016 NAA manufactured 480 pistols.

Below are images of the two relevant pages. Click to enlarge. I find it interesting that NAA is the number two maker of .22 revolvers, behind Heritage (199080) and ahead of number three Ruger (39406). There are not a lot of revolver makers in the United States, it seems. Colt made 31 .22 revolvers, which makes me wonder why they would bother - maybe some fancy presentation pieces.

Cool!  Looks like they are here to stay...at least for the near future. 8)

Charts show that Freedom Arms made 510 revolvers. I would have thought they were bigger than that. Does show that NAA made twice as many Guardian 32s as 380s. That matches their advertising that the 32 is the most popular. I don't know the full significance of the chart info. Figures for any subject can vary widely from one year to the next. One years' numbers are hard to put into context.

Seecamp is not shown, but I would guess their pistol total is smaller than NAA's? They still have a rep for being scarce and hard to find.

I emailed NAA as to production totals and understanding serial numbers. Jessica wrote me back a very indefinite answer, which I have started a thread on in this NAA Products category. I would have liked a more enlightening answer.... :o

There are two reasons you do not see Seecamp in the image I posted. First is that there are 21 pages of pistol makers listed by state and I only posted part of the one that NAA is on. The second is that Seecamp pistols are now made by Whalley Precision (I think) and so you need to look for Whalley in the MA state list.

You can examine ATF's reports for the years 2008 to 2016 at the site - here is a link:

And here is an image of the page with Whaley listed as making 1994 pistols in 2016.
