How about an Open House or even a Factory Tour?  Meet the men, women and machines that make the NAA magic happen...

I have seen a thread where they had an  "Open House / Meet & Greet" years ago at the factory.

Any plans for another?  Sandy?  :)

I would be thrilled to meet the folks behind the product as well as other enthusiasts Cult Members  ::)

I could pick up a Black Powder 3" Earl at the same time!

Maybe Mr_22 has some influence to suggest this to the mother ship?

How about in the spring.... I don't have a heavy jacket! lol!!

Just kidding, I'd go any time of the year!

It would be a long trip, maybe I could hook up with someone who lives closer to me and then we could make the trip.

I'd love to see the NAA Factory and see how thee nice little guns are made.

I'd go for that.  My wife and I spent one month in UT this year.  We took our travel trailer, and visited 5 National Parks and several State Parks.  We were mostly boon docking off grid, but stayed a few nights in campgrounds.  Before heading home we stopped in AZ's North Rim Grand Canyon N.P.  The trip was about 6,000 miles long altogether.

Mid May to mid June would be the best time to do this if you want to spend some time outdoors.  Perfect weather.  There's a lot to see, even more to do, and that's an understatement!  I've been to about 42 states, and UT has to be the most scenic one so far.  I wanted to swing up to Provo on the way home, but it would have been on the weekend, and I figured NAA would have been closed.  Provo is up north around Salt Lake City.  It's nice up there too, close to the Wasatch Mountains just east of Park City.

I just mentioned this thread to my wife and she said 'Not without me!"

I'll get the rev ready ,and can go just about anytime. Wife makes a few trips to American Fork every year for work.

If I ever got out that way I wouldn't mind a look around. Not sure when that would be tho. If it goes down take pics or it never happened ;)

I was just down at the factory a few weeks back.  I had a fast trip to the SLC area and stopped in to have a 22LR cylinder fitted to the
magnum I got this summer. Work done while-you-wait, very fast, efficient and friendly. But no, the only place open to the public behind the front desk is the lavatory; the plant itself is strictly no-go to outsiders. I'd show up if they planned an open house.
And HTM you're right, Utah is some scenic!  My wife and I are pretty avid petroglyph hunters and we keep finding ourselves in Utah looking around... many places there we haven't seen yet.  We'll be back!

We had a tour about 9 years ago, with a number of forum members there including Mr22. That was when we saw the original Ranger prototype and I decided if they ever made one I'd buy it. We also went to the range and got to fire a whole range of NAA minis, Guardians etc. with Sandy. I'm sure one could be arranged if there was enough people who could get there. It's about 12 miles from me, but obviously you can double that and multiply by a thousand for some on here.

Maybe we could do a FB live transmission for you Uncle Lee and OV. It would be the next best thing to being there live.  ;D

Well, I would love to do a tour.  If someone close to me relatively would like to car pool, that works for me too. ;)

Your welcome Uncle Pepper!  Glad you like it!

OMG!  My shop feels like an open house tour every day!! lol!!

I get more done from 5:00 to 7:00 every evening than I do all day. Everyone has gone home and I lock the door!  ;)

Alright, that is a little exaggerated, when people come in I do most of the talking  :o

It's always fun to meet people from the Forum at the shop.  Quite a few have stopped by while in Phoenix for seminars or visiting relatives. (or just getting away from snow in the winter!)

Desert FUN Leather! I like that!!

BigBird will probably be there,  he is our door  "greeter"  like Walmart  :)

Anyone is welcome at our shop anytime.  I guess everyday is an unorganized open house  ::)

Desert Fun Leather,  that might be a more accurate name for Rick's great leather.
Tours of the shop 5-7 is when I stop by.  Door may be locked as there is some foot traffic in the evening that does not need to just walk in on a guy that is packing at least 3-4 NAA's at a time. Rick never has just one on him!

I try to keep him working while we talk.  He always has to stop to show me something since he is the Master Enabler.
He let me shoot the Mini Master and yes it is growing on me and I think it is on the List now.

That is a mighty fine looking cross draw holster, I'm sure your going to love it.

I could increase production if I just put some leather and tools in this guys hands when he visits! lol!!

It's funny, if Ken stops by the shop after dark and the door is locked he knocks on the door in full view for me to let him in.

If it is still early evening and the door is not locked, he rattles the bells hanging on the door while standing to the side yelling "its me, Don't shoot!" before walking in! lol!!

It's a fun group that hangs out in the shop.  Some on the early shift, some on the late shift  8)

I'm pretty jumpy BigBird.  Ask John, when I get in "the Zone"  I know he's in the shop and I'll still jump if he starts talking!  :o

I darn near "pulled" on Kim from next door when she strolled in one evening (She has a key) I'm in "the Zone" working and hear the door open when I know its locked.  I look up before drawing but while looking up my had is on one of my guns. ???

I need to cut down on my caffeine intake  :D
I hear noises at night, sometimes they are not in my head! lol!!

Don't pull that trigger on USAA too soon.

Get all your financial ducks in a row..... then come to work for nothing but the glory of making holsters! lol!!
