sorry, Unc... i love playing with computers and electronics... for example, we like listening to all kinds of music in the house, so i put together a little $30 computer that can be run from any iPad or computer in the house - it has 40,000 books, a week's full of .mp3 music (24/7), hosts internet music streams, and has an attached thermal printer for printing shopping lists or fortunes for fortune cookies... :-)

it also has an 3W amplifier for driving two vintage Radio Shack Optimus bookshelf speakers (sounds really nice, too!)
