Would someone be so kind as to post a picture of a 1-5/8 MiniMag next to a Sheriff?

I'm trying to talk myself into getting a Sheriff, hoping I can pocket carry it.

Thanks

bearcatter

I don't have a photo, but website specs say the 1 5/8 mini mag is 5.13 inches long, and the Sheriff is 6.31 inches long. That's 1.18 inches difference. The rest of the two guns looks the same. Hope that helps.

oops, I meant to write 1-5/8 Mini-Mag vs Sheriff 2.5

Yes, it's about 1.2" and 1.2 ounces bigger. I just want to see them together.

#3
Sheriff and I think the 22LR with the lanyard is an 1 5/8” barrel.  Sheriff and BUG came with both cylinders.

It is 1 1/8.
The folder is 1 5/8.

Mine are the 1 5/8" Wasp and the 2" BW if that helps. Wasp and the 22 mag mini are basically the same dimensions. Old grips.

Thanks Copfish. That helps. As WG says, the folder is 1 5/8.
What model is the second one down on the right? I don't think I've seen that one before.

barrytheprof

Thanks Canoeal. I have a 1 1/8, and 1 5/8, and a BW which I recently sold. I'd like to replace the BW with something less bulky and lighter than the BW with a longer barrel than the 1 5/8. The Sheriff's octagon barrel is bulkier than the mini mags, but I see from the Copfish's picture that it's not really that thick. What I really want is a mini mag with a 2 to 2.5 inch barrel.
I know, picky picky picky . . .

Second down on right is a Bugout 2.
The Bugout 1 is the same but came with
orange grip. It also was LR only.
That said it still was the Magnum frame.

Canoeal

Might want to hunt around for an older model the Buntline.

That's why I'm going slow. I haven't seen one yet. Since only 750 were made, I'm afraid the price might be astronomical.

I'm thinking about starting a protest movement with placards:

Bring back the Buntline!

How about a couple that looks like the Buntline?

They're not buntlines?

bearcatter

You want one of these? I couldn't find a story that went with it.

The Buntline is a unique Mini  ;) Love mine!

I found mine on GunBroker, no one was bidding on it.

Possibly, bidders didn't know what it was and/or were just looking for only the shorter NAA's

Does the holster come with the buntline? :P

I think I'm gonna hold out till one shows up. I have infinite patience

That one looks like it has a Pinocchio problem. Must've lied a lot about his shooting prowess. It does show that the barrel is replaceable though. Or at least I think it does. If I had it I'd probably give it a nose job.

bearcatter

Looks about a 12 inch barrel. Could possibly be as accurate as a rifle, but no front sight.

The time is coming that I am going to have to sell off my children.
I'll think about selling them off one at a time.
I would rather sell them as a pair.
I am not out to make money but I would have to charge something.

Ya know Unc_Lee I'm looking for certain NAA belt buckles . If you want to lose any of them slip me a e-mail . Earlier models if you have .  ??? ???

Uncle_Lee

The only "special" ones that I have are:
A pair of "Bug Out 1"
A pair of "Black Jack"s (I think that that is what they are called)
A pair of "Break Top"s (Ranger 1)

Everything else is normal minis like a complete line of the "Sidewinder", complete line of the 1860 series, & assorted other minis and 2 Guardians 380, and one of each other caliber.
I have some 32NAA AND 25NAA ammo. I don't know how much and it would take some effort to count them. I am pretty sure over 200 rounds each.

I seen on one of those gun auctions a Ranger1 (used but not abused) was going for $1695.00 I think .Those of yours should go for $ 4000.00 seeing they are consecrate numbered , then again its what anyone would pay for them . Good luck if your selling anything . I'm looking for those earlier belt buckles by NAA .

I think I remember a thread where someone had a gunsmith cut down a Sheriff to 2" and put a new sight on it. I liked it. I wish I picked it up from him...

That guy is not going to get that price for his.
I would sell a pair that has only had pictures taken of them for that price !!!!!
Well, I did change grips but the originals come with them.

Unc_Lee I'd buy them from you in a New York second if I had the bucks just to help you and yours out and have a good getaway for awhile . Being hold up insides sure drains anyone need that sunshine . Plan a day to the local park and feed the birds .  :) :)

Thanks OV,
I have never really sold anything but I think I should start now.
I just don't know what to charge.
I don't want to make a bunch of money.
I don't need a bunch of money. I have arrived at the age and state of health that I don't need it.
